I received MEMBER'S MARK® Kansas City Style Seasoned Beef Brisket Burnt Ends as part of a free sample program. I lived in Texas for many years and have had a lot of really good brisket. I was excited to try this. First, I was surprised at how quick and easy this was to heat up. The recommended heating method is the microwave, but it also included instructions for the air fryer and the oven. I poured into a bowl, broke up the pieces and added 1 tablespoon of water and mixed. I covered it and microwaved for 90 seconds. Then, I stirred and cooked for 90 more seconds. It turned out tender and flavorful. I served on a bun with the included barbecue sauce poured on top. The sauce was bold and smoky and was a nice addition, but the brisket was good on its own as well. My husband said it was so good that it was hard to stop eating it. My teens loved it as well. I would definitely recommend this product and will buy it for my family in the future.

Have purchased these a couple of times. Thought the sauce was separate on the first ones. Manufacturer should put the sauce in a pouch not force it on us. Burnt ends taste great without sauce. Also one package we bought the "burnt ends" were nothing but shredded beef!

This stuff is not fit for human consumption. The package I bought was about two thirds fat. There were many cut pieces that were 100% fat and the few that had any actual meat were laden with large amounts of fat. I tried to eat a few of those pieces and it was disgusting. I thought about giving it to my neighbor for her dog, but was afraid it would make him sick. So, I threw it out. I gave a one star rating because there was no option for a negative 5 star rating.

My whole family loved these burnt ends. The box suggests the microwave but I made them in the air fryer and they turned out great. They were tender, smoky and so flavorful. We smoke meats regularly and these tasted like we just took them off the smoker. A great substitute if you don't have hours to make them in the smoker. The sauce it comes with compliments it perfectly. We made sandwiches with it and they were delicious. Will definitely be buying these again. Received this product from a free sample program.

Bought these to try. Sam's was heavily advertising them and they looked delish. But, after trying them, I felt they were ok, not great. Plus I thought they were over priced, $10 a pound. Maybe a better deal if they were at the $12 to $14 range instead of $20.

I was able to try Member's Mark Kansas City Style Beef Brisket Burnt Ends through a free sample program. I was surprised that all five of us were able to get a decent amount to eat. The look and taste is superb. There were some pretty fatty pieces in there, but that's to be expected. Even with picking those out, there was plenty. I chose to make them in the oven instead of the microwave and it didn't take long at all. It smelled delicious and I liked that there was enough sauce to flavor, but not overpower the meat. Definitely will be getting these to eat again.

We have had these twice, and I love them!! Do not microwave these!! They will dry out horribly. We make ours in the oven and they turn out so so good. (Do not overheat in the over either) I don't even put the sauce on them, they are delicious by themselves!

First of all, definitely overpriced even at the “new lower price”. But my son really wanted to try them and in light of a promotion at work I decided to splurge. Next, the nutrition facts… approximately 12 pieces per serving and 6 servings per container. Umm, no. There is not 72 pieces, not even half. So hopefully that means the sodium content is wrong. Also hoping the sodium is mostly from the sauce which (thirdly) is horrendous. Literally just liquid salt. It does come in a separate pouch and my bad for not trying it first. With a different sauce I could maybe give this product a couple more stars I did not find the meat quality/texture to be bad like other reviews mentioned but maybe I just got lucky.

Do not recommend. There is a lot of fat, so it's hard to understand what was removed when they "hand cut" these. The meat was tough, did not have much flavor – very little of a BBQ or smokey flavor, and the burnt parts tasted artificial without any of the good taste of a brisket. Felt like we were eating the scraps left after all the good parts were served.

I was able to try these through a free sample program in exchange for my honest review. First this was a nice size 2 lb package which provided plenty of food for my family of five. It was easy to prepare- we cooked ours in the airfryer. As it cooked it smelled great. The pieces stayed nice and moist. The accompanying sauce had a hint of sweetness, a hint of smokiness, and a hint of spice. It was very tasty overall. This was great for at home BBQ, especially for barbecue that can be cooked in the microwave or the air fryer. Would absolutely recommend to a friend to try!
