Product is too salty for my taste, recommended heating method is the microwave but would probably have been better oven heated. Pieces are definitely not melt in your mouth tender, denser harder chunks. Did not satisfy my brisket craving at all. Next time I'll just visit a local barbq joint.

Not for me

I received this as a sample to try. Saying I was surprised is an understatement. It was juicy, tender, crunchy where it had to be crunchy and had the perfect amount of barbecue sauce. I don't like barbecue sauce but oh man, the one on these burnt ends was perfect! I was expecting it to be more than $25 but at this price, I'll definitely be adding it on our weekly dinner rotations.

I received this product as part of a free sample program in exchange for my honest review. Overall, this was ok as a quick substitute for "real" BBQ or something a little different from ordinary routine. It comes with a packet of sauce that is mediocre at best. The meat itself has a good smoky flavor, and the seasoning is done well. I was worried it would be too mild, but was pleasantly surprised. As to be expected, the texture varied from piece to piece. I would have preferred a crispy crust, but considering it is pre-packaged and the recommended method for cooking is to microwave, that is really wishful thinking. The biggest downside is the amount of fat. I understand there will be some, but it was simply too much. It was so much that my hands and even mouth felt greasy after eating. I had to move to using a fork it was so bad.

These are so delicious

Purchased 10/21 to give it a try. The cost was high, but I thought value would be equal. I was way wrong. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I had to return it. Could not taste anything but salt. No smoke flavor, just overwhelming saltiness. I do commend Sam's Club for offering a refund with no questions asked. I will also say that I have tried many other Member's Mark products that were good. This is a rare exception, in my experience.

Wasn't that good for the price. Although its tender, I find that it had way too much fat than meat. We threw majority of it in the trash. Felt bad that was the only meat I prepared for everyone and no one like it. Bbq is key we would've still ate it if the sauce was decent
