Horrible

I have had Vizio tvs before with no issue. It was nice to have just a TV. Vizo should not be in the smart TV business. It works when it wants to turns on and off randomly. Unable to install apps. Not user friendly in the least. I really just wish I can by a standard on off TV.

Great TV if you don't mind constantly resetting it

I bought this tv a month ago and it looks great when it's not freezing or dropping the internet... The soft reset option seems to fix the problems, temporarily anyway... it this is how all “Smart” TVs behave, you are better off buying a dumb one and an Apple TV!

Hello Dtrdwngfn, your television should hold onto your network signal as long as it is connected to a stable internet connection. We’d really love the opportunity to have our tech support team run through some troubleshooting steps to see if we can get the TV up and running for you. When you have a free moment, they’re available through text message, chat, or over the phone. Just go to support.VIZIO.com and click on ‘Contact Us’.

NIce tv

Have for 4 days and cannot print users manual. I cannot calibrate or set TV if something is wrong and I have to use other methods to read manual instead. Nothing better then having a printed hard copy in my hands. Instead of going to another device for the information. Please send me a printed copy or something I can print. Not a PDF. I cannot print PDFs

Total Garbage - ailed after 3.5 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You expect a state-of-the-art television to last longer than it's predecessor (My previous model lasted 10+ years) and you expect the company that produce it to stand behind a failed product. The fail began with three large discolored blotches and led to the TV randomly resetting, seemingly, every 60 minutes. If Vizio cannot recognize a moment in time to absorb a faulty product and acknowledge that, sometimes, you make a lemon, I will not continue to be a customer. My advice to anyone purchasing from Vizio - Caveat Emptor.

Wonderful

I bought this TV to replace a previous 4k model that did not support HDR. I am very pleased with this TV. I am seeing details I never knew were there before. And watching a 4k movie on my 4k Blu-ray player? Wow! Impressive! This may not be the top tier, but if it lasts like my last Vizio set did, I can look forward to many happy years.

Excellent Picture with Quantum Dot Tech

I went a little crazy doing research on finding my new TV with all the technologies out there! Ultimately I decided on this Vizio 65" M-Series M658-G1 over a 65" 6 series TCL Quantum. I went from a 42" LG to this 65" huge upgrade - you don't realize the difference until it's in your living room! This model is a CNET Editor's Choice for moderately priced TV's. PRIVACY: I paid for my product and Vizio or any other manufacturer has NO business knowing what I'm watching and selling my data! If you're giving away the TV for free with the catch being Vizio has the right to monitor viewing habits, that would be different. You should have an easy OPT-IN or OPT-out. I did disable the "sharing viewing habits" option which they make difficult to find and is pre-checked to share. I connected to my WiFi and it's impossible to disconnect it through the TV settings - once again, this should be our option to disconnect since we bought the TV PRO's - Great picture - Features features features! - Settings (too many) Vizio should have suggested settings for the type of viewing you do most - movies/TV shows, live sports, etc and have optimal settings suggestions (yes all of them) for those CON's - Remote poorly designed kinda a waste of time using it - TV Feet - This is a BIG DEAL. I'm sure as many people found out this last Christmas season a number of MFGR's made the TV base feet too wide for standard furniture TV stands. A lot of TV cadenza's are ~ 4'. Vizio made this TV (and likely many other models) 4' 2.5". Just a little too wide for standard width TV furniture. If you're hanging your TV on the wall it doesn't apply to you. If your TV is on a stand of 4', you have to buy a whole new TV stand at several hundred dollars!! Vizio should have designed the feet to fit a standard sized TV stand - this isn't difficult and should've been a basic consideration for your customers. - Speakers - weak, they'll do but you will end up buying a soundbar eventually.

BEST DEAL

We found this while we searched for a TV to put in our master bedroom. The price was right. The picture quality is amazing, the features are what anyone could ask for in a TV. It takes time to get the right color and picture quality adjustments to to your liking but once you get it WOW

Nice picture

I bought this TV about 2 weeks ago. I really like the picture quality. I had a bit of a learning curve since this was my first 4k tv purchase but all and all I like the set. Only thing I don't understand is the speakers being on the back of the TV. Hmmm

Awesome TV

Set up 1 week ago, it's working great! Selection of built-in apps not as great as I'd hoped, and it doesn't seem I can remove the ones I have no use for. Even trying to rearrange them is a headache, the OS is too sluggish. Other than that, it's been great - we'll be using our phones to cast the apps for the most part - so it won't hinder our enjoyment of the TV. Just an annoying quirk.

GOOD TV but it has some quirks

Bought this TV before Christmas and wanted to give it some time before wrote a review. For the most part the 4K picture quality is good; the black is truely black and the colors are vibrant. BUT here are the quirks: 1] the apps are buggy 2] app navigation menu is terrible 3] the remote is cheap(made and feel) 4] TV sometimes randomly turns off 5] Sound effect options do seem do anything real 6] It sometimes doesn't "play" well with my Vizio sound bar (it becoming annoying)
