I think the onboard smart/streaming capabilities are par at best. I fixed that with an inexpensive firestick though. For the money...This tv does great as far as picture goes. It doesn't upscale the best tho. Overall, for the money...you can't go wrong. I found this 65 inch m658-g1 for 499 (refurb). Im happy with that=)

This is my first 4K TV and I must say that this is a major upgrade for me! 4K content pops and the Dolby Vision is amazing when streaming on apps like Netflix and Disney +. Blacks are black and not washed out. I really don't have anything negative to say about the TV other than I wish they had more built in apps. They recently added Disney+ so hopefully more apps come in the future, but that's not a big deal for me. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.

Our last TV was on the way out with all kinds of issues so I started reading through reviews for a replacement. I have a 32” Vizio, that I have owned for close to 20 years that still performs admirably so when I read the reviews on this model, I was sold. Set up was easy, and after registering I also installed the app where I could use the remote from my phone. The only minor complaint I have is that the lock out feature is rudimentary. I have two preteens that already have too much screen time on other devices so to limit time on the TV I wish the lock code would work in different aspects of the features that the unit has.

This is an incredible set, and I cannot believe how "low" the price is! It was finally time for me to upgrade to a new set, and I did everything in my power to not upgrade as my current Vizio was still going strong, and it was 3D, and I have a large collection of 3D blu rays, and I find it foolish that TV manufacturers are not still making at least some 3D sets, and I sincerely hope Vizio includes 3D on sets again even if it is in their higher end ones. However, it was time for me to upgrade to 4K, and my goal was 65 inches, Dolby Vision, and a full array. This set is not the only one that has those, of course, and I can say that it took me at least a month and a half of reading too many reviews to count and watching a ton of YouTube review videos on this and other sets. There are other great sets out there, of course, but after my research, and given the price, I bit the bullet on this one. It was and is beyond worth it. 4 HDMI inputs, a full array with 90 local dimming zones, Dolby Vision, etc. The specifications speak for themselves, and they are wonderful. The setup was easy with a step-by-step guide that immediately upgrades the set to the newest firmware and software, and a really, truly good default "Calibrated" setting that you may only have to tweak a bit here and there. I am also a gamer, and it's nothing short of spectacular. I will not pretend that I can measure lag by the millisecond like the competition "gamers" can, but I have found no lag whatsoever both offline and online gaming. If you are looking for an out of this world for the price television that is, and I feel this is true, worth at least a few hundred more, that features jaw dropping 4K, ample HDMI inputs, and it will not break the bank, then this is for you!

The picture is awesome when viewed from the front. However, I notice a significant picture degradation when I view from the side, especially the dark colors get hazy. I also have an earlier Vizio 55 M series which does not have this issue. The smart tv applications and remote control is top of the line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This M series 55” has replaced an E series 60” that worked great for about 8 years. I've had this for about 2 years now and everything has been working good as expected. If I can get another 6 years or more from this one I'm pretty sure it'll be replaced with another Vizio. Really love the TV, features and quality of the picture. However, I am having a problem with it turning on randomly in the night and none of the customer service tips online seem to be working. Plan to call the company soon to see if anything can be done.

I bought this 5-6 weeks ago and absolutely love the picture quality and bright, sharp colors this unit delivers. The unit is easy to install, set up and run and the number of built in apps is great.....always something to view. Do yourself a favor and get one whether or not you are in the market!

I brought this tv 2 weeks ago and it works great. Beautiful colors it has Dolby vision which is a plus when streaming. Connected to my vizio sound bar with no problems. Only complaint is Smartcast it works when it want to. Sometimes smartcast is not available and i should not have to recycle my tv and loose settings and have to sign in to all my streaming again. Can be very annoying. Pleasr fix this problem Vizio.

After researching for over a month I am very happy I chose this Vizio and drove 200 miles round trip to pick it up. The colors are rich, nature scenes are beautiful. The tv isn't near as heavy as I expected, lifting it up onto the wall mount wasn't too difficult. Setup was a breeze, easy to understand and it basically did all the setup automatically. I do wish the HDMI and other ports along with the electrical plug were straight back from the back of the tv, not the side of the back. Cords show if I swivel the tv.
