i bought this tv and it started to have issues afterward. I troubleshot with Vizio and eventually replaced a part. The issue happened again and the tv was replaced prpmptly. The TV is awesome with the picture and sound great buy for the price and as always Vizio stands by their product.

Great Display at a Reasonable Price

Bought this tv about a year ago and the picture has not disappointed. Black scenes are clear and colors are brilliant. There are a few hiccups, when occasionally it would not turn on with the remote. A simple hard power off and on seems to fix the problem. I think it has problem loading Smartcast, hopefully a future firmware update will fix that. The one thing I wish it had was a voice controlled remote, again I hope I can get an upgrade later. Using Alexa is not the same and I have since removed that option. Another wish would be the ability to remove and add apps. That would declutter and speed up my viewing.

Awesome picture!

This is my third Vizio. After having a TCL for a few years and dealing with a failing picture board...I knew it was a mistake to not have bought another Vizio! This tv has the sharpest, clearest, most vivid picture! I will never buy another tv unless it's a Vizio!

Great picture with strange audio response

The picture quality is exceptional as long as your expectations for HDR are not excessive. Though little is actually broadcast with HDR compatibility, I have seen more dramatic views from other TV's with similar costs. Still, the average view is better than most units costing two or three times as much. The aggravation is in the sound. It would not work at all with my 5 year old Vizio Sound Bar so I purchased a new, highly rated Vizio Sound Bar. The sound is unpredictable, often refusing to mute the sound bar, even though the analog audio is used and set to variable. It can be a royal pain to use and the Visio Sound Bar remote must be kept close at hand.

It's ok - lot of money for what it is

I bought this TV a few months ago. I have had to reset it a couple of times already. I cannot connect my blue tooth to it, which it my fault for not noticing that before I purchased it but I assumed for the money that would be an option. I just don't think it is as easy to use as the Sony I have in my bedroom. If I had to do it again, I would buy another one like that. Which is a surprise as I usually am happy with all of my VIzio purchases.

Incredible Color and Contrast

Bought this Vizio Quantum series tv on recommendation of independent reviews and they were spot on. The specific model M558-G1 specs are very important here. I was never expecting to be blown away by the huge improvements in color, picture clarity and the intensity of the blacks. You find yourself watching older movies just to appreciate how this tv drastically improves the picture quality of movies you have already seen. Be prepared to be impressed!

Beautiful Quantum Tech at a Reasonable Price!

The picture is awesome! I've had it about 6 months now and I'm so glad I upgraded to my Vizio 65" Quantum, from my 42" TV! HUGE difference. It's loaded with tech. PROS: - Fantastic picture quality - Lots of setting options - Ease of setup CONS: - Need to put more effort into an improved remote - Speakers - VIZIO: Have good quality sound or don't waste our time/$ putting in subpar speakers. Sound is just ok and minimally acceptable. - The 'feet' were too wide for my TV console (check this before you buy!) - perhaps building in feet mounts that can be set a little closer should be an option. - Getting to know SmartCast - but so far been difficult to exit out of SmartCast mode, why?

Great picture quality!

I got the M558-G1 about 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier! The picture quality is superb and the screen uniformity was surprisingly good for a TV at this price-point. The Alexa integration, rock solid CEC implementation, and great casting capabilities really made integration with the rest of my system super easy. The only downsides are that the HDR isn't as bright as the higher-end models (but then again the price...), and the lack of a native Tablo app requires me to cast Tablo from my phone (however, this works flawlessly).

Always happy with Vizio

This isn't my first Vizio. I started purchasing them 16 years ago (still using it almost daily). It is a 32" which was a nice size flat screen back then I Have a 55" (still using it - 6 years old) and now have a 65" (bought July, 2020). Ib additin to these tv's I have purchased Vizio's foe all my rental properties. I have not had one problem with any of these TY's. I was about to purchase a competitors brand and had been researching TV's for a few months. My wife reminded me of our great experiences with Vizio and I switched gears and purchased the Vizio. I could not be happier. The thing I noticed with Vizio is generally Vizio is usually competitively priced and if you do your homework you will discover the Vizio always is upgraded in one or two features over their competitors. I will always look to Vizio for my tv needs. I am wanting a sound bar for the new tv and am watching for a bargain. Mike

Overall

I bought the Vizio M series last month and let me tell you guys that it's a really solid T.V. The colors are dynamic and rich. The build in speakers are ok but you could buy vizio 5.1 speakers for an extra sound boost. The down side to this awesome T.V is that the build in chromecast is really slow, the remote control feels really looks and feels really cheap, and it freeze on sometimes. Overall I would give this product a 6/10
