I like the TV very much. It would be nice to be able to download apps to it. Recently lVizio added Dinsey+ to the mix but before that I had to cast it from my phone. Also, the speakers are so small that there is no way to make them sound anything but tinny. I bought a sound bar to fix the problem.

I bought this 5-6 weeks ago and absolutely love the picture quality and bright, sharp colors this unit delivers. The unit is easy to install, set up and run and the number of built in apps is great.....always something to view. Do yourself a favor and get one whether or not you are in the market!

I think the onboard smart/streaming capabilities are par at best. I fixed that with an inexpensive firestick though. For the money...This tv does great as far as picture goes. It doesn't upscale the best tho. Overall, for the money...you can't go wrong. I found this 65 inch m658-g1 for 499 (refurb). Im happy with that=)

I have owned this product for about 1 month. To date my experience has mostly been positive. First and foremost the picture quality is very good. I will say that it is not nearly as crisp and vibrant as the demo at the big box store that I purchased it at, but I suspect that has to do with these stores broadcasting special content to the screen. On our standard HD Comcast channels the picture is bright and the colors are solid. What is missing is the vibrant colors that you see at the store. All of the colors are slightly washed out but again, I knew this would happen before I purchased the set. It has nothing to do with the settings, as I have experimented with multiple settings and recommendation from experts on calibrating the unit. The content broadcast in the store is different. That said, I still enjoy the picture. I had some initial trouble with the unit automatically turning on in the middle of the night, but that has stopped. The rear facing speakers are a real limitation. I typically have to turn them to 3/4 full volume unless I am sitting within 8 feet of the TV and the house is dead quiet. A sound bar is highly recommended. I was able to sync it with my Comcast remote so I only need one remote to control the TV and cable box. I was able to easily connect my phone and IPad/Android tablet to the TV via SmartCast. The quick links to Netflix, Hulu and other streaming services work great. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a solid large screen TV on a budget.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This M series 55” has replaced an E series 60” that worked great for about 8 years. I've had this for about 2 years now and everything has been working good as expected. If I can get another 6 years or more from this one I'm pretty sure it'll be replaced with another Vizio. My old 55 inch TV finally died. I upgraded to the 65 inch M658-G1 Quantum and am very happy with the purchase. I spent some time reviewing different brands and for the price this TV seemed to be a very good value for the price. After I set it up and had it running I notice a big difference in the quality of the picture, the colors, and the sound when compared to my last TV. Another reason I favored Vizio is because it is an American Company and because I have purchased Visio products before and found them to be quality products.

I bought this tv based on price and the good reviews, however I have only had it for a few weeks and I've experienced a few issues. It has problems with the picture, I get little black boxes that randomly appear on the screen, I've had multiple problems with the entire screen going black and having to unplug the tv for a few mins and plug it back in to get it to work. The home screen doesn't seem to work consistently, some times it will only show the top menu bar but the rest of the screen is gray. I have a vision sound bar that has intermittent issues with the audio as well. I've had my internet provider out to make sure there are no issues with that, and I have the tv hard wired directly to my router, still same problems persist. I would not recommend this tv personally.

I purchased this Vizio to replace a 47" Vizio that was 5+years old. I really like the built in apps and chrome cast. I am able to stream in 4K and have found myself watching the WatchFree channels as much as my regular cable channels. The only negative was setting the new TV up on my WiFi. It turned out to be a problem with my old internet provider router and not the TV, however troubleshooting the problem was a bear. If you have a newer router or plan to hard wire the internet to the TV you shouldn't have any problems.

Have been watching for over 1 month and so far so good. Picture is great once I got the settings right. Auto settings did not look good - kind of hazy looking. Watched Super Bowl in 4K and it was great. Apps work well considering my internet connection is not the fastest. Like this TV very much for the price and would recommend to all.

It has now been 6 weeks and we love it. Picture quality is outstanding. I don't care about the tiny feature at top that shows info and channels. (TO SMALL ) Your remote is also to small to read for my wife and I both and my fingers to big. Google will turn TV off, change volume up but won't turn it on or change channels?
