My new washer and dryer was delivered today and I've already done a load of laundry. Washer is great, dryer is too but where is the drum light? The book says there is a toggle to turn it on but doesn't show where and I can't find anything on the machine. The model is DVE45T3200W .

Awesome dryer!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer a few months ago and have not been disappointed. It's large enough for my blankets, it has a sensor so I haven't had any problems with shrinkage. It's just a wonderful dryer.
Nothing worthwhile
this dryer is terrible and does not dry my clothes. the technician stated i can't put too much or too little or the clothes won't dry. do i need to be a math mathematician to figure how much is too much or too little? also, it states i can connect to my phone for more options. it won't connect. although, the manual states to press the smart connect button, i don't see it on my model. the technician couldn't tell me how to use the manual settings. i'm ready to just donate the dry which is less than 90 days old because it's useless to me. i'm very disappointed. i was very loyal to samsung, including purchasing cell phones. i'm done with samsung.
I see where you are coming from. These are problems that would annoy anyone. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. To use the manual settings of the dryer. You just have to use the cyles like Time dry, Quick dry, and Wrinkle release. These cycles do not function off the dryer's sensor. On directions on how to use the Smart Care app, I'll provide the full directions here. If you want to read this yourself. You can find it in the manual on page 40. ^Pat Smart Care To enable this function, you must first download the SmartThings app at the Play Store or the App Store and install it on a mobile device featuring a camera function. The Smart Care function has been optimized for Galaxy & iPhone series (applicable models only). 1. When the dryer detects an issue to check, an information code appears on the display. To enter Smart Care mode, press and hold Temp. + Time for 3 seconds. 2. The dryer starts the self-diagnosis procedure and displays an information code if a problem is detected. 3. Run the SmartThings app on your mobile device, and then tap Smart Care. 4. Put the mobile device close to the dryer’s display so that the smartphone camera and the dryer face each other. The app automatically recognizes the information code. 5. When the information code is recognized correctly, the app provides detailed information about the problem with applicable solutions.
7.2 gas dryer

Features are good but doesn't dry as well as our other one. Tried to get service to check it out but could not figure out how to do it online. Keeps taking me to option warranty site. Takes longer time to get big load completely dry
Best Dryer for Steam Sanitize+ Feature
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer in November of last year. I love how this dryer is big enough to fit 2 loads of clothing. I really enjoy the Steam Sanitize+ feature because it leaves my clothing dry and not leave it with damp smell. The only down side of this washer is left in wrinkle mode, dryer doesn’t stop drying as it’s in a continuous mode of drying and stopping. I give this dryer a 4 Star because the Steam Sanitize+ is the best feature.
The Samsun Dryer DVE45T3200W
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience with the Samsung dryer has been great thus far. I’m thoroughly impressed with the size. I have a king size comforter that fits perfectly, even leaving room for other items. In addition we also have a large family so the Samsung dryer is perfect for large loads! I love the fact that the lint collection is easily accessible. Much easier than our whirlpool dryer. The Samsung dryer has several different cycle selections from “dryness” to “temperature” to “time” it also has a digital timer that lets you know how long you have left for drying and if that’s not enough it plays a cute song at the end of each cycle. Our previous dryer had to cycle at least two times before clothes were completely dry. This is not the case with the same sim dryer. At times clothes are already dry before the timer is complete. This is by far one of the best dryers that I’ve used. Money well spent.
Dryer of my Dreams
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one great dryer. It is the perfect compact size for a small laundry area, or even a bigger one. Don't let its size fool you though, as it has a large capacity drum that can hold even a large load of linens. It dries the first time, every time. It is super quiet and plays a little melody at the end of each cycle to let you know it's done.
No drum light!
Having a drum light for your dryer is such a basic feature for a dryer we did not think to look for one when we purchased this dryer. Not being able to see into the drum for dark close is a real problem. If we could we would return this dryer for a different model. It dries well and the features are solid, but the lack of light is a major miss on a minor feature. It is like buying a bucket with a hole in it!

Easy to use and good quality.

Nice basic dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and matching washer and have been happy with it. Nice variety of settings for the price. Simple to use. The lint screen is a little strange to get lint out of but no big deal. Has great capacity. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a simple dryer, for like a rental, first home, or single person venturing out on their own.
