It crumbled easily for making into breakfast tacos and egg muffins. I have also bought more and used for biscuits and gravy. I would like to try more from Smithfield's brand hoping the rest are just as flavorful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smithfield Sausage is yummy. This was my first time trying Smithfield Hometown Original Sausage and I was glad I did. I really liked the flavor this sausage has. I cooked up a big breakfast for my family consisting of saysage gravy and biscuits, hashbrowns, and eggs and my entire family loved it. My six year old son is generally picky however he really liked this sausage as it did not taste real spicy so we will be buying Smithfield sausage again.

Not to happy with this; seems to be very fatty. Just flavor not the best

Got this on a whim a few weeks ago, usually buy Corriher brand from the regular grocery...opened it, still in date, and it smelled sour and was slimy. I threw it out. Wasted $10 on garbage. Don't buy this!

I have tried this sausage twice and have been disappointed twice. To me it has a strong smell that is very off putting. And just to be clear it was fresh from Sam's Club. It also is not the same quality ot texture as other breakfast sausages I have tried. I might have to pay more elsewhere but that's okay.
