Sam's sadly has fallen for price over quality. We bought it twice in hopes that the first package was abnormal, but the second package was just as bad. We will buy our sausage elsewhere, since this is some of the worst sausage I've ever had.

It seems to merely be ground pork. I don't detect any seasoning. Wasn't bad, just bland.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves Smithfield Hometown Original Fresh Sausage Roll. We've used the sausage for all types of meals from breakfast to dinner and it does not disappoint. I love that it's all natural with no artificial ingredients.

This “sausage” is so packed with water that it doesn't allow the “product” to fry. What you're left with is gray and black dried out pucks of disgustingness. Bring back Jimmy Dean or lose a customer. Seriously.

It's easy to use for sausage gravy with biscuits or to form your own patties. Overall it was tasty and easy to cook. I would get this again.
