These are great snack sticks with great flavor!! They have a great price point compared to some of the other non-refrigerated brands I've seen. A few times I have found a tough piece in them when chewing but that is prob to be expected with most snack sticks due to the grinding process!

Good at first. By the time we got to the 4th package in the bunch, got tired of them. No, we didn't need to eat them all within a week, but we have 5 kids, so these go fast. Would prefer the sticks were half the length. Easier to just grab one and not be sick of it half way through. I will say they were a hit at our New Years party, but I sliced them into ~1 inch bite size pieces and paired with some cheese cubes. Of course, this allowed everyone to grab a small amount at a time which plays up to the strengths of these meat sticks. Best in smaller quantities. Find a friend to share a stick with rather than tackle the whole thing alone, especially after you have been snacking on them for a week! Please note that these kick butt compared to something like Slim Jims (1 star) or even Jack Links sticks (2 stars), but these are 4 to a pack, huge and also not refrigerated - translation not as easy to take with you for the day which to snack on later which knocked off a star for me.

Plain white rice (If you cook it in distilled water) has more flavor than these things. They seriously have no flavor at all, if you suffer from acid re-flux or heartburn these were made for you. If you want flavor, yeah, well, you won't find it here.

Watch the expiration date. I had 2 packages go bad before the expiration date. I also had 3 packages sold to me within 2 days of expiring and 1 package after the expiration date. I typically do curbside pickup so I wasn't able to pick for myself.

Horrible, I have had them before and loved them but lately they have been slimy and inedible at purchase.

Disappointed. Really greasy when cold and supposed to be refrigerated after opening.

Beef sticks arrived with expiration date of the next day. Immediately put them in my freezer, hoping they will still be good later.

Not at all what I expected. Purchased these “snack” sticks on a whim after the Turkey snack sticks I unusual get were out of stock. These beef sticks are very greasy, flavorless and the texture feels raw like inside of the casing. I definitely wouldn't recommend or buy again. I've resorted to baking them in the oven for with potatoes so I don't feel like the money went to waste.

I eat tons of beef sticks, purchased at local grocery stores, As well as meat markets on occasion. These earn my 1 star rating. Every single stick is filled with hard particles. Hard enough to injure or irritate an already sensitive tooth. Every other item I've purchased at Sam's has been wonderful. It's surprising that a quality control inspector, at the plant that makes these, thinks these are acceptable.
