Bought new samsung washer and dryer, the dryer drum split and boke within 2 years! Replacement drum costs half the price of a new dryer, not including any installation labor. Friends have had similar experience with expensive Samsung products breaking within a couple years.

I was apprehensive when I first bought it because I was not sure about the quality that I would get with this particular model. However, they disappeared fast. I love this dryer. It is super-efficient and quiet. The construction is nice, the layout of the knobs and control is perfect. The controls respond to the slightest touch. I used to press them a little harder but once I realized how super sensitive they were, I actually fell in love with them. The machine in real life actually looks better than the photos! I bought the washer and dryer combo and can truly say that I liked the specs and price but was not happy with the looks from the photos. Once they arrived and I have them installed, they look quite good. The only thing I would improve is that the lint remover needs thinner fingers or you need to have a soft brush that can be used to scoop the lint.

This is an excellent dryer that rises above anything I could have asked for. The winning feature being the sensor dry. No more burnt smelling clothes when you open the door (this was a common occurrence with our previous dryer). It's really quite impressive with how “just right” the clothes are when they come out. There's also a ton of settings on this dryer to customize each load to exactly what you need. We are going through loads of laundry so much faster than we used to and it's quite refreshing. I have zero complaints and appreciate how much easier laundry has become in our house since owning this washer and dryer set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer on March 1, 2022 along with a Samsung washer replacing a washer and dryer which needed to be replaced. It has been great in its performance and ease of use. The only drawback has been with drying thick towels, I need to split up all 8 towels (brand new) into two loads in order to assure they dry in one pass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] dryer quit heating after 19 mos (19 mos!), we are very disappointed. service personnel told us to turn off circuit breaker for 5 mins then turn back on then the computer should reset. did not work. then told to contact service department which will not cover parts or service for repair. so now we have a 700 dollar tumbler after 19 mos. never have i been more disappointed with samsung. you lost a customer today.

This machine is an absolute piece of garbage! Every time I do a load of laundry, regardless of size, I end up with a huge knotted tangled mess of laundry that I have to peel apart and one by one put back in the dryer to finish drying, at least once. I have to try and maneuver myself to be able to pull out an entire load of laundry all at once, often times injuring myself one way or another. Sheets? Forget about it! I have to separate and redry those and if I don't check it after the second round of one hour and 30 minutes, I will usually end up having to rewash it because it didn't fully dry and ends up smelling like mildew. So if you want a dryer that will cost you more than it's worth, provide you hours of wasted time and money, then this is your buy. I would scrap this piece of garbage if I could afford to buy another one but for now I'm stuck with this crappy washer and dryer set that I bought brand new for way more than I should have!
