Great machine overall!

We have used this print, scan, copy, fax machine in our small business office for 2 months now. It is very efficient and user friendly. It sets up easily on computers. We had to download the app on our phones (the printer will not directly link to your phone without the app), but it works well. Overall everyone in the office is in love with this laser printer and I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

Great Printer

I love this printer. It is fast and works well with different paper types. It has some great features and is very user friendly. I have started printing on both sides of paper whenever it is appropriate, because it works so well. I could not be happier with this printer.

Great quality printing!

I love everything about it, almost. The only problem I have is that I have to turn it off and back on to reconnect to my laptop, printing by wifi. Continuously says it's offline, until I restart it. Then, I can print. It prints fast and beautifully. I really do love it, except for that one issue.

Great features. Setup hit or miss

I'd love to give this All in One Color Laser printer a higher score, but having to have installed this printer on various platforms on different brands of computers, I've come across too many inconsistent setup issues. Wireless printing is so important nowadays and setting this printer up on a wireless network can be hit or miss. I've installed on Windows 10, Mac OS, and chromebooks. Sometimes the setup process goes perfect, computers and OS recognize the Brother without any problems. Some installations on the same OS become a more tech challenging event. OS doesn't recognize the printer, you have to manually enter IP addresses, you have to shutdown machines, reboot routers, reinstall driver software multiple times just to get it recognized. To me, that's a big factor when it comes to ease of installation of devices. I feel bad for a consumer who might come across these difficulties and struggle just to get connected to the printer.

So Far So Good

It has been about a month since my purchase. Easy setup. I'll update with any news, but so far I reall like the printer. I had a Brother 1440 printer for years which was a work horse for me. Still worked great, but I started working from home and needed more features. This one is a great value. I'll write more next time they ask.

Brother Printer

When it works, it is a decent machine, but the machine has had at least 2 instances where it opted not to scan or print as requested. Very frustrating. There does not appear to be any reason for the 're-setting' but for a busy office, this would not work. Even Brother has not been able to explain, or correct, the problems. The machine simply works, or doesn't. The envelope printer will only do one at a time, which is a bit labour intense. The double sided scanning and copying is a nice feature but again, to use it is quite labour intense as it doesn't automatically do it from the ADF, you have to lay each page on the glass and then turn over. This was one of the reasons I purchased this particular model. But when it works as intended, it is a nice little office machine for a decent price.

Pleased

Very pleased. I've had it one months from it works great. It's smaller than my last printer. AirPrint works great and the touch screen is too. Scanner is fast and paired up easily with paperport. Literally plug and play, quick setup and fits well with my small office.

Works great!

Bought this to replace an inkjet printer, tired of dealing with expensive ink drying out. Took a couple of hours to get it to work with my computers, but has been working great since. Color is surprisingly good, at least as good as my inkjet was. Did have one issue with it not shutting down, had to unplug it, but haven't had that problem since. Don't know how well it would hold up in an office environment, as I am using it in my home, but don't see why it wouldn't perform just fine.

Just a month and having issues

Just past 1 month since I bought the laser printer and I'm having problems/issues with the black toner cartridge. After cleaning the corona wires and drum unit, I am still experiencing the vertical black streaks, blot inks and scattered ink stains. I have called the technical support and have told me that they'll send a replacement toner cartridge. We'll wait and see; hoping that will fix the problem.

Powerful printer, Crisp Clear, Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I have been using the Brother Color all in one, printer, fax, scanner for approximately two weeks now. The set up process was super simple. I didn`t even have to read the directions for set up, it was self explanatory if you`ve ever worked in offices using similar copy machines.The Brother printer connected automatically to my WiFi. I did not have any problems trying to connect. This printer printed effortlessly from several wireless devices in our home. The finished products were very crisp and clear. I printed several color photographs and the color was very vivid. The fax portion on the machine worked effortlessly. I had to fax several pages and they went through on the first try without having to send them again. The automatic feed worked amazing. It did not jam at all while using the feed.I love the fact that this printer uses toner instead of ink cartridges. I have found the copies come out more clearly when using toner cartridges.I would definitely recommend this printer for home or small business use. It is well worth the money and seems to be a sound investment with little to no problem areas that I have come across in the two weeks I`ve had it. Five Stars!
