I purchased this cake the other day at Sam's in Folsom, CA. The cake did not have the powdered sugar on top as pictured and so it may have been in the case for a while and dissolved. I got the cake home to an excited family and we all sat down to indulge. The frosting was DEVINE! It was absolutely spot on. The cake was very good albeit slightly dry. If the cake had been slightly moister it would have been a perfect 5/5. The seasoning of the cake was very good....spicey like gingerbread but not overly pumpkin flavored and definitely not artificial tasting. I think this cake will be going into rotation at the homestead. Give it a try for office parties, fall functions or afternoon tea. It's savory and not too sweet.

The pumpkin cake roll we got was very good. It was moist, not dry at all. It had good flavor. The only recommendation I would give, and this is purely because we like cinnamon would be to add some of the pumpkin spice into the white icing part of it. I would definetly buy this again. We have only had this cold, I'm sure it would be great warmed as well with maybe some pumpkin spiced coffee or latte. We have had it for dessert, but would be a great little morning treat as well

I brought home this cake for weekend snacking for family members. It was refrigerated when I bought it, and I continued to keep it refrigerated. It measured 7 1/2 inches long, 4 1/2 inches wide, and 3 1/2 inches tall. Using a rough two finger width, you can get 8 whole slices. For public or large gatherings, you can easily cut each of these slices in half to get small dessert servings, for a total of 16 servings and half again to get 32 appetizer servings (works especially well for bamboo stick type presentation). I served it both cold, and served with coffee and again warmed slightly with a nice cold glass of milk and it was great both ways. I could also see apple cider or mulled cider being served with it in a fall festival type setting. The cake was prepared on Sept 9th, and it is now Sept 14th and the cake is still moist. The cream cheese icing filling in the cake roll is evenly distributed and makes a pretty presentation. It tastes wonderful too. It's moist, sweet pumpkin flavor with the starchy back taste pumpkin can have sometimes. I would definitely buy this again.

This pumpkin roll is huge for the price! It was moist (there's the "m" word), the perfect sweetness and pumpkin flavor, and oh so delicious. I could easily take it out of the package and give it to a neighbor and it would pass for homemade without question... but who would ever do that :). All jokes aside, it was really good. My kids loved it and so did the husband. I would buy it again!

I was so excited to see pumpkin roll at Sam's! Since it looked so good, I bought one and brought it home expecting it to take like the numerous home made one's I've had. I was disappointed. A tad on the dry side, the spices are slightly off, and the "cream cheese" filling contains very little cream cheese. The filling reminded me of the filling inside a Twinkie. Not good at all. And honestly, this surprises me. I have very, very rarely bought a Member's Mark product that wasn't exceptionally good quality.

This is a very moist pumpkin cake with a cream cheese filling and topped with powdered sugar. We've bought this a few times during the late summer season and our family really loves it.

The is the best pumpkin roll I have ever purchased from a store. My entire family loves it. It’s never dry. It taste just like I made it from scratch at home. Wish Sam’s Club would keep it in stock

This was a great purchase! Cake is very tasty; icing is not overwhelmingly sweet. You can totally taste spices and pumpkin flavor. The only issue I had is that roll could be softer. Otherwise, everything is very delicious!
