This is one of my favorite food at Sam's. Make sure it's cold when you get it. I have not gotten a dry one yet. I take it home and put it in the freezer for about a half hour. Take it out and slice it into about 8 pieces and wrap each in parchment (I get those Ziploc Paper Sandwich Bags w/ Resealable Stickers), then put them back in (you'll have to eat one to make room), and refreeze. I take a piece out and have it with coffee or chai tea. I really like it when it is still partially frozen. If you do get a dry one, I would serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. So Good!

This cake roll is pretty to look at, but that’s it. The cake has to much clove in it, and that is the dominant flavor. Very little pumpkin flavor comes thru, and there is also a hint of cinnamon. I also found the cake to be very dry. The cream cheese center was very underwhelming as well. We threw ours away.

The cake itself was beyond dry. Sam's usually has great baked goods but this was terrible. I think they only used cloves and nutmeg, the rest of the pumpkin spices were definitely missing. So disappointed, we threw it out.

I bought the item processed the same day so it was fresh. Soft sponge. Flavor was OK but needed more pumpkin. Cream cheese frosting was below average. I’ve had better pumpkin roll

I purchased this cake the other day at Sam's in Folsom, CA. The cake did not have the powdered sugar on top as pictured and so it may have been in the case for a while and dissolved. I got the cake home to an excited family and we all sat down to indulge. The frosting was DEVINE! It was absolutely spot on. The cake was very good albeit slightly dry. If the cake had been slightly moister it would have been a perfect 5/5. The seasoning of the cake was very good....spicey like gingerbread but not overly pumpkin flavored and definitely not artificial tasting. I think this cake will be going into rotation at the homestead. Give it a try for office parties, fall functions or afternoon tea. It's savory and not too sweet.

This pumpkin roll is huge for the price! It was moist (there's the "m" word), the perfect sweetness and pumpkin flavor, and oh so delicious. I could easily take it out of the package and give it to a neighbor and it would pass for homemade without question... but who would ever do that :). All jokes aside, it was really good. My kids loved it and so did the husband. I would buy it again!

This pumpkin roll definitely hit the spot! It has such a nice pumpkin flavor that is not overwhelming at all. The cream cheese filling was absolutely perfect and I loved that it wasn’t overly sweet. The price was great for how large of a roll it is. Our family was able to enjoy it on many occasions. This dessert would be perfect to bring to any gathering or to just enjoy at home! We will definitely be buying it again.
