[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Organic Raised Bed mix, it had a mix of mulch and some sprouts in the soil, when I opened the bag some small gnats were flying around in it. I guess it helps with loosening the dirt mix with native soil. I poured the whole bag over my raised bed, it acts as a fertilizer and mulch. My tomatoes, cucumbers, and okra are doing well.

The soil is great and nutrient rich to help me grow my herbs, peppers, and other veggies. I loved using this soil from Back to the Roots and I'll buy it again..

But one star, maybe my bag was just a dud, but it was just basically molded cover sticks with a little soil. Nothing of seeds started at all of them love the company, but this one was a big time no. Raised bed soil not for me.

They have really livened up my outdoor herb garden — my rosemary, sage and oregano are really thriving. I really like this soil and will definitely getting it once again!

I did have a bit of a difficult time sorting through the bags in the store to find a bag that was not torn. The mix is not full of bark, so it is good for growing all types of plants.

I really wish Influencer would get with the seasons on certain items. It retains water well. It had a lot of large clumps of it in the bag. It was packaged securely for 23lb bag. It doesn't smell like manure or anything.

I think the roots and my worms will be very happy with this mix. It's got nice moisture retention as well. I trust this company's products and feel at ease when my kids want to help me in the garden.

The soil seemed richer than typical soils we buy and there wasn't anything weird or filler in the bag. I just used the soil yesterday so it's too soon to say what it will do for my plants but I'm excited to see.
