Great quality very moist.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this soil is blended with Gypsum which gives calcium sulfate dihydrate to the plants. I also love that is very moist soil it has the yucca extract giving it this moisture. My plants are loving this soil.

Quality, rich soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the organic raised bed soil mix. I was very impressed by the high quality of this soil. It appeared very rich, and moist. I've planted some veggies, and herbs in my raised garden bed, and they are all thriving in this soil. I would definitely purchase this brand again!

Organic Rasied bed mix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Back to the Roots Organic Raised Bed Mix because I wanted to try a different soil to combat this heat. I do not have a raised bed but I repotted my recently bought cherry tree. It says that this tree appreciates to be well watered. I am not good at watering my plants , sad to say. With this triple digit heat that does not let up I thought that this new mix of soil would help to retain the water better. And I am glad to say that it is holding on to the water it gets. I would not recommend this soil for plants that can't stand soggy roots. My tree has flowers on it and I noticed its first cherry! I am happy with the results and not wanting to lose my special plants I think that I will buy this again for certain areas that just bake in the heat. Otherwise the regular soil would be fine. #trynatural

Great For Urban Gardeners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loooove to garden but I'm stuck with very little in the way of square feet! I have two gardening boxes for vegetables in the warmer months and a few pots that use to grow herbs on my windowsill when it's chilly. I needed a change out of the soil I was using and decided to give this a go. It's AMAZING!! For my inside herbs, I plant them in a plastic pot then put that pot into a ceramic pot without holes on the bottom. I then fill it with about 2" of water to let the herbs kind of water themselves. The mint and basil on my windowsill has exploded since the transplant. Great, rich, earthy-smelling soil that holds on to moisture and isn't super woodchippy (you ever get soil like that??). I can't wait to dump out my gardening boxes in a month's time and start sowing cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes!

Too early

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was just a small bag of potting mix but it was regular sized potting mix. It may be too early to say if this worked for us but so far it seems just like any other potting mix. I'll find out more after the plants have grown.

Worked great for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this for a raised bed that I am growing lettuce in. So far everything is growing well and the soil is holding a good amount of water so it should work well for the summer months as well. I did add nitrogen to the soil.

Working well in my vegetable garden

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a large vegetable garden in our backyard. We used this starting in the fall to grow onions, shallots, tomatoes and celery. Everything has grown beautifully so far, no issues. I have no complaints and would recommend if you’re looking for an all purpose soil!

Great Soil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the texture and consistency of the Organic Premium Blend Raised Bed Mix Soil. I also liked that when I opened the package I wasn't met with a musty smell like other soils. My plants are growing big and strong.

Great product for raising bed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I highly recommend the Back to the Roots Organic Potting mix for gardening. It has greatly improved the growth of my plants, making them bloom faster and fuller. What's great about it is that it doesn't contain any harmful additives that are detrimental to both you and your plants. This is now my go-to soil for all my gardening needs.
