I noticed that my plants and flowers were not growing and once I added this bed mix to the raised bed, it literally changed how fast my plants and flowers grew. Since our winter re pot all My plants seem healthy and strong. It smells like dirt and that's good. No chemical smells.

The soil is great and nutrient rich to help me grow my herbs, peppers, and other veggies. I loved using this soil from Back to the Roots and I'll buy it again..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The soil is composed of quality organic ingredients, but the bagged product seems to require being stored out of rain/sun otherwise you risk all that organic goodness going anaerobic and getting rather smelly. Which seems to be what happened with the one I picked up. Not the manufacturers fault, although maybe additional venting would be beneficial, but something to be aware of. I still plan on using the soil, I'll just let it dry out real good in the sun and fresh air breeze.
