As compared to About 95% of the TV I watch is OTA of my local network affiliates. As compared to some other TVs, this LG appears to have a much more sensitive tuner. I live about 40 miles from the transmitters and this LG pulls in all of my local network affiliates with no pixelation even on stormy days. I tried another brand of TV before I bought this LG and had problems pulling in a good signal with the exact same antenna setup. Needless to say I returned the other TV to the store and got this LG. Another good thing I've noticed about this LG TV is that there is hardly any lag when switching between live TV and the streaming apps. It also turns on fast and remembers the last channel or app that was on before it was powered off. The WebOS is clean and intuitive to use. Unlike some other smart OS's like Glamazon Fire, there are no wall to wall ads for Glamazon, which are sickening to say the least. I wish I had bought this LG first thing, but I'm sure glad I ended up with it.

I only see one drawback in this great TV and that's the viewing angle it's not as wide as I would have hoped it to have been. I would purchase this TV again the price was great as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this TV recently and couldn't be happier. The picture is great and the apps are easy to use. I love that the input automatically changes to whichever one is receiving a signal. The remote is great too in that it controls the play & pause on my BLU Ray player too.

For the price, you can't beat it. The picture is spectacular, clear and vivid. Sound quality is really good too, although I do have a sound bar attached for movies. TV reacts quickly to commands from the remote and it has plenty of ports to connect all the toys. My only complaint is the signal from the remote requires accurate pointing at the TV. My previous TV I could point the remote in the general vicinity of the screen and it would react.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic TV did a lot of research online and through consumer magazines LG is always constantly high rated TV hook up was very simple and the picture is stunning along with the audio if you are looking for a nice 4G UHD TV you can do no better than LG especially this 49 inch TV that I Have that is an upgrade from my 36 inch TV

What a surprise how many features it has and how great the picture and color is! I love the sound and wasted money on a sound bar when I didn't need to. We will be buying an LG again!

The superior sound was obvious from the beginning. And the picture is sharper. We don't connect this TV or the previous TV to cable. We stream through a Fire stick, Wii, or DVD. Very happy with the purchase so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tv to replace my older Hitachi plasma tv. It is taking a bit of getting used to. I my have went a bit big, but picture is very good. Much brighter than my old one. LG is great color, sharp picture and very nice surround.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not been disappointed again, had owned other LG TVs, cell phones, tablets, etc. This smart TV is like a 43 inch computer with all the bells and whistles of technology. Upgrade for the master bedroom that with certain subscriptions can be your secret hide-a-way. Right out of the box I scanned channels in less than 5 minutes, the on screen prompts are easy to navigate and the remote buttons spread apart for easy use. I returned another brand for sound/remote issues and am so ecstatic with my LG.
