The dark and light have pretty good contrast. The TV has alot of apps as well as integration to Alexa; no more looking for the remote. I would definitely recommend this to any one looking for a smart 4k display.

In addition I'm using my Samsung phone as remote even my family doing the same. the apps and Samsung tv has endless of shows and entertainment. the speakers just amazing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I paid a 3rd party to mount it in place of my old TV and do the initial set-up because I'm just not good at that kind of thing, but it didn't take them long to do and I was pleased the mount for my 2008 Samsung 50" plasma TV could be used. I procrastinated turning the TV back on after they left because I had lots to learn being way behind on AV technology. However, I started going through the e-manual built into the TV and it made things easy! The TV has so many features and looks and sounds great! I expected nothing less of Samsung based on how long my plasma TV lasted (it still worked when I replaced it). I'm super excited to have a Smart TV now. I've been playing music from my phone as well as directly on the TV. I look forward to sharing my computer screen to the TV and trying out the new streaming apps. [I signed up for a free trial of YouTube TV, but have not yet been granted access.] The only "negative" is we weren't able to control my surround sound (home theater system) with the Samsung remote, but it's because it's old and out of date. The technicians had to use an optical cable to connect it to the TV. I won't be able to watch DVDs on the theater system either, but who cares now that I have access to many other movie channels. Eventually, I'll upgrade the sound system. I can't use any remote to change the volume, but that'll just force me to get my butt up off the sofa! Lol. Finally, the Samsung remote is quite useful and I like that there's no batteries to replace. Nice job Samsung!

One of the features I really like is the new remote with built-in rechargeable batteries. The voice command on this new remote works much better than previous models. Great TV Samsung

television is modestly priced with a great picture. clarity and colors are beautiful. i love the option of the rechargeable remote, however, be aware you have to buy your own charging cable as one is not provided. don't expect much charge on your remote either. it does have the option for solar charge but in my case i would have to place it outside. i personally feel there should be a charging cable included. overall, i am happy with the purchase but it would have at least been nice if something was stated clearly that the charging cable is not included. i would have given 5 stars if the cable had been included or something clearly stating it was not.

I own a nano lg also that is newer than my samsung, but horrible when it comes to understanding the controls and smart connection's. I love Samsung and I'm saving now to replace my nano lg with a brand new samsung 65". Even the connection of Bluetooth speakers can be controlled by my 9 year old on my samsung because the accessabilty is designed for toddlers!!

The remote is easy to use and does not take up a lot of space. I would definitely purchase a Samsung tv again.
