Kellogg's® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles have been a freezer staple in my home for decades. I love the crispy outside and soft inside. They absorb any topping without becoming soggy. Kellogg's® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles are very versatile. I also use Eggo® Waffles to make sandwiches, frozen confectionery treats and quick deserts. I would recommend Kellogg's® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles to family and friends, and suggest they try my top of stove pan fried method.

The first thing you notice is the anemic pale color compared to the golden original homestyle. Next you smell the extra sweetness. When you bite, the crisp texture is gone and replaced by mushy texture that hardens too much if you try to get it to the old way. What was once a nice breakfast or snack has become compromised into something hard to eat. Only those who are adults now can tell what is lacking. The kids dint know what they are missing.

I only buy eggo waffles. The home style eggos are the best whether we add just butter, or syrup or top with fruit filling or cheesecake pudding. Ohhh yum! They are always fresh, best quality over the cheap ones. My son sometimes will eat them frozen lol. When put on the right toaster setting, these things are warm, fluffy & satisfying.

The grooves in the images held syrup well just like regular waffles. My son was excited about the collectible cards on the back of the box too.

Our family has been eating Eggo Waffles Homestyle for 30 years. My husband and son are very disappointed in the recipe change that seems to have more of a vanilla taste. Please bring back the old recipe! They were perfect the way they were and now we will be searching for a new quick breakfast waffle for us because nobody likes the new version.

They are a good source of vitamins and minerals and are made without artificial colors or flavors which is amazing! The ease of being able to just pop them in my toaster is great for a quick yummy breakfast. We will most definitely be getting these again! The newer recipe is sweeter and the texture is different. I have changed over to the minis on most occasions because they still taste like the originals. When ever I eat the homestyle ones I have to lather it in syrup when I use to be able to pop them in the toaster and eat them as they came out. Please don't change the minis because then you will lose a customer. :(

This was a treat for me. Wife and kids aren't into waffles. But, I love them. But, have been working on losing weight. I've been a good boy and getting in shape. So, I eat mornings before an afternoon basketball game. I get rewarded before I play!!

I love ego waffles my kid eats them everyday for breakfast and she goes insane for them!
