I bought 3 boxes from different stores several months ago because they tasted awful and not like my regular waffles I’ve eaten my whole life. I thought my tastebuds were off or they were freezer burned- they don’t even look the same after you toast them. If you want a new recipe make a whole new waffle and leave what the consumer likes alone. I googled Eggo waffles are nasty in a whim because I miss them- and found this page….

We still have a large box left in our freezer. With food so hardtop get these days we were so pleased when we found this large box in our downstairs freezer. Guess we are the lucky ones for their is none to be found in the stores. We would mist that great crunchiness right out of the toaster. I like mine with butter but my husband loves him with butter & syrup. Either way they are super great! Just have to make them last now!

Why on earth would Eggoschange the original Homestyle recipe?! It taste sweet like a buttermilk eggo which I bought on accident one time and threw out. Seriously can someone from Kellogg or Eggo explain why this was a good idea? Maybe you should take a look at your reviews since the new release and you will see it was a mistake. Admit it was a mistake and just fix it. Pretty simple. Would love to hear from someone at the company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun addition from the Eggo brand you know and love. My kids are wild about the mandalorian designs on the waffles. And they taste just like the original eggo homestyle waffles. Every mandalorian or Star Wars fan should give these a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were absolutely thrilled by these Mandalorian waffles. They have pictures of Grogu and the Mandalorian on them. They request them for breakfast every morning, the only slight problem is that they don’t hold up well when you try to cut them, but other than that, they are great.

The new sweet flavor is just disgusting. I've been going with generic brand waffles for over a year now since the change and it breaks my heart. I've enjoyed eggo home style waffles since my youth and now my favorite comfort food has been taken from me. Please bring back the old recipe...

I started eating Eggo waffles one day when my grandson stayed over. I really enjoyed them. Since then I buy three to four boxes at a time. Just pop them in the toaster and you have delicious tasting waffles and pancakes in minutes. I purchased the pancakes for my husband to try and now those are his favorite.

After decades of enjoying Eggos, I just threw the box I recently bought in the trash and am saying goodbye. Did Kellogg actually think people (like me) weren't going to notice. They're no longer yellow, they're white; they barely brown in the toaster unless you toast them for twice as long as the originals; and they no longer taste like egg, they taste like syrup, butter and paper.
