[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redid our backyard and added huge deck. To compliment the deck we needed a big pergola that could standout and this one fit the bill! I was really surprised that given it's size, my wife and I were able to assemble it by ourselves. Not only do we love, everyone that comes over loves it!

I put this together in different phases just because of my schedule, but it honestly is quite easy to put together. Take your time and use both the written instructions and the app you can download on your phone. I will add photos when everything is finished.

I bought this one year ago and can't be happier with it. Quality is great and customer service was great. We notified that we where missing a couple of screws and they federal expressed it out the same day we called. Would definitely buy again if needed

Overall it is great. Like the color, bar table and the outlet. Design is great. Cons: there are few cracks and dents here and there right after the installation. One of the column is a bit off and the assembly was came with the purchase. It is still new, and hopefully there aren't more cracks. Overall it is beautiful, and already recommended to ppl and purchased it.

Erected the Silverton over the 4th of July weekend. I was very impressed by the amount of engineering that went into this kit. It went together very easily and exactly as shown in the BILT instructions. The cedar wood was in great condition and all of the joints and pre-drilled holes were exact. Very nicely done. I highly recommend.

We ordered this unit as a rear porch addition without the expense or building codes needed for an add on. This unit exceeded our expectations. The instructions are straight forward and if you have any building skills at all, this is a well engineered unit. The one thing we did do was to go and buy a 5/6-18 tap and die to use on the threads of the bolts as several needed a fresh lead in. Other than that we were very pleased. It was nice that the manufacturer also included at least one extra nut or bolt in every size.

Well, Im a 45 yrs old womam, with moderate building skills. Took me 8 hours with breaks, all by myself. The one thing you can't do by yourself is moving the whole structure to set the anchors. Parts are labeled and under no circumstances, you should remove the hardware from the bags. I actually wrote the part number in a bigger label for easier identification. Watch the whole building process video BEFORE you start...and THEN start. There were only two pre-drill holes that didnt aligned by 1/8 inch but with some adjustments, they finally did. Overall a good experience, thanks to BUILT video.

I literally looked at this pergola for 3 years in a row!!! I finally got the right spot ready in my backyard and bought myself this as a gift to myself. It is everything I thought it would be. Sturdy, attractive and fantastic!! So glad I made this purchase!

We love Pergola and sit outside every evening. It has very detailed instructions and my husband and our friend were able to build it with my help to hold as they placed the top slats so having at least two or more people is definitely helpful. This is a very sturdy structure and the bar and electric is awesome. I will be recommending this to my family and friends.

My wife and I installed this throughout a very long day, but that included determining how to place it on a sloped section of yard. The instructions stay away from that completely. We chose to put the end (2 posts connected to the bar) on the high side, so we dug holes 12 inches deep, leveled with pea gravel, and packed the hole slowly with dirt and pea gravel making sure that it was plumb as we progressed. The instructions are good relative to the hardware to be used and all bags are clearly labelled. The pieces of wood were stamped with ink IDs that were not easy to find at all so that caused some wasted time. BE CAREFUL to ensure that you have pieces oriented correctly before you proceed. Orientation is often excluded from the instructions and you have to guess. The biggest example was Step 11. It does not show you the orientation of the bar panel, and we installed it upside down. An hour later after fighting with Steps 12 and 13 I realized in Step 14 that I had it upside down. Undid those steps and it went together nicely once that panel was oriented properly. Lastly, Step 10 was difficult because the Center Arch Joist Assembly boards were not straight. We did a lot of pushing while up on a ladder and finally decided to jam a 2x4 in between those boards to make them parallel so the D1 boards could be screwed in. We were exhausted when done mostly because of Steps 10 and 11 but overall it was fun and we love the look. We also think it is very sturdy. One other minor thing - the cutout for the electrical sockets assumes that you are going to put that assembly in a specific place. It should be symmetrical so you can put it wherever you want. I am going to trim off part of that piece to put it on the post we have chosen.
