We decided to buy this pergola because of the looks and price. Before we put it up we did sealer it to help protect everything. Went together Fairly easy. The paper and online Instructions helped understand how to put it together. Love the shelf

We purchased the pergola a couple of weeks ago. We love how it looks on our deck and it was easy to put together.

This turned out to be a great solution. We put a shade Cloth over the top. and it is perfect for our needs. We bought a 2nd one.

Spent some time deciding to purchase this backyard addition and so glad we did. Install team did a fantastic job!

The shipping was a disaster, the assembly process was a mess, eventually canceled, BUT in the end after I FINALLY got it up, almost 2 months later, it's gorgeous and I feel right at home.

My husband and I put this together ourselves over a weekend. It would have gone quicker but we skipped a step and had to redo some steps. The manual is ok, it doesnt tell you what to do it just shows pictures. So be careful about pilot holes and dont skip any steps!

Best fine for the price anywhere on the planet. You can't build one this sheet. That being said, there were a couple pieces that were cracked. I called her they were sending replace the pieces. Easy to put together. It took about four hours and you need a partner. It looks great on our deck!

Would of given a 5 BUT the instructions could of been a touch more clear. The pre drill holes didn't always line up. It was overall pretty easy took 2 of us to put together.

The only trouble we had was some of the barrel bolts would not thread. Had to go to Ace and buy new bolts. PITA

Backyard Discovery's customer service could be waaaaay better, no empathy and just plain nasty. BD's photos look great, but... Maybe just a fluke? For the money I should have built my own.
