My husband and I put this together ourselves over a weekend. It would have gone quicker but we skipped a step and had to redo some steps. The manual is ok, it doesnt tell you what to do it just shows pictures. So be careful about pilot holes and dont skip any steps!

Put this together over the Christmas holiday. The good: - Best instructions I've ever had. Both the printed instructions and the Bilt app were excellent. - All parts were present and clearly labeled. - All parts were in good condition. - Assembly was relatively easy. I needed three people to erect the subassemblies. - The assembled pergola looks great! The not as good; - I placed support blocks based on the dimensions in the drawing. This was wrong. - I tightened all bolts before erecting subassemblies. That was a mistake. - Two of the Four plastic feet would not fit onto the legs. Still not sure what to do about that. I think I will have to sand it down in a couple of spots. All told, it was worth the money and I'm happy with it.

Was not hard to build, came out great

Directions are not good. Several times had to reverse what was completed and redo. Some warping of boards was present.

It was easy to assemble. You do need 2 people when putting it together. I crack 2 of the angles trying to do it alone. I do recommend to get help when you built it. But I'm happy with it.

Everything fit together well. It has good I instructions and videos. You need to really pay attention to the notes. Overall it is really well made.

We absolutley love this Pergola! It is a great size, and the outlets a super convenient. But it took A Lot longer that 8 hours for 2 of us to put it together. We finished it over a weekend. With only 2 people, be perpared for a 2 days process.

While I am satisfied with product, I am little frustrated that less than a month after purchasing it is now $100 less. Be prepared to spend up to the 8 hours advertised time to assemble. And, make sure there are 2-3 people assembling. Once completed the pergola is very solid and looks great.

Taking delivery of the 3 large, long boxes is not so easy. Be sure there is room for a full size semi-truck & trailer near your house. The boxes are longer than the trailer is wide, and the power lift cannot lower the packages properly. Be sure to unstack the 3 boxes and handle with care. The wood pieces are finished and can easily scratch on each other. Once assembled it is sturdy and beautiful.
