Not Very Sturdy

Cute and fun. But doesn't withstand wind, flimsy wood that doesn't stand up to weather and cracks, splits, and warps easily.

Amazing Playhouse

We love this! We have a small yard and saw it first in a store so we knew it was a smaller Playhouse. My son absolutely loves it! We put 2 adult chairs beside it and sat back and watched him push the doorbell and open and close the door and play in the sink.

Pretty to. Look at but doesn't last long

Bought for my granddaughter but only lasted about 2 months when a wind came through and it fell totally apart. Tried to rebuild it but one part on roof was busted but fixed it to stay up. It lasted another month or so when more wind blew it totally down again with no repairing it this time. It is not strong enough to resist a wind and for $300 I definitely think it should not have crumbled up like it did. Waste of money and crushed a little 2 year old heart because she now has no play house to play in. She just has the destroyed house laying there.

Great value! But get the drill out!

Admittedly, I bought this on clearance at half price. My boys are 3 & 4. Time will tell if it lasts, but overall I'd say it's pretty nice quality especially at what I paid. I'd feel I got my money's worth if it lasted a year. The directions are clear, but you will have to set yourself aside close to 4 hours to get this done as a one man show. There is seemingly 500 screws on this thing in order to build it. Lots of people complaining about split pieces, etc. It's thin cedar. Turn down the torque on your drill and go to town building it. The finish is pretty thin and I wouldn't expect that to last the test of time. I may slap a coat of finish over the top, but will likely just let nature take its course hoping it survives 2 years for my boys. And again, that would be long enough for me to consider it money well spent. My four year old is a beast and he just slightly has to duck to enter, but my 3 year old gains access just fine. Suggested age is 2-10 I believe. 10 year old will certainly be a stretch. I would expect the better age group to be 1-6.5 before most have outgrown this. Guys played in it before I was done with the roof and had a blast. Now they'll get to enjoy it until winter in all of its glory. The sink fills with water after a rain. Just drill a hole and call it good. I may drill a larger hole and get them a rubber stop in case they want to fill it up one day like they're washing dishes. For the money I paid, I wouldn't complain if it is trashed in a year and I would suspect it will actually still be in fine shape at that time. May just throw a tarp over it to protect from winter and call it good other than some wild animal taking up shack in it. Final Notes: Great value! Be realistic with your expectations. Be ready to devote 3-4 hrs to build it. Five stars when paying half price.

Kid Kraft bungalow

It doesn't seem to be weather proof. Also , don't let the folding sides fool you. This was very difficult and very time consuming to put together. No predefined holes. You have to measure for all the 200 screws that you put in. It did take me a little longer than most due to me putting together what I can now .. I will be traveling with this gift. I had to refer a few times to YouTube for better instruction. And I do this kind of stuff often. I work with wood and many crafts. I found this to be misleading and the quality is not the best. I usually love kid Kraft items. Very disappointed!
