Need to improve of the lower and upper rack design and spacing. The square dishes can slip through the rack and damage the sprayers

Then the water pump failed and the back-log on approved maintenance personnel has had us without a dishwasher for 3 weeks. Other than this issue, it washes well and is fairly quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because of the stainless steel tub and the true steam features. I wanted a quiet machine and it delivered. I am still figuring out how to get all dry dishes. However the alerts to my phone are an added bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for about 8 months and it is GREAT. Heavy pans from lasagna come super clean without scrubbing. No spots and residue. Works great with WIFI. Will not buy another brand again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, we bought one of the highest rated dishwashers they make. It didn't clean well or dry and it was small. Fortunately the store took it back and we really liked the LG. It's large and the spindles are not cheaply made and the utensil basket it huge. Very happy.

We have had this dishwasher for 6 weeks and it quit working. We have had a repair man out and he ordered parts. We replaced the parts, and the dishwasher is still not working. The repairman is coming back out on another week to assess the situation again. I am very disappointed that we got rid of our old one and bought this one. I hope this gets resolved soon,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product itself is fine so far. I bought black stainless and it is peeling. I thought black stainless was the color of the product itself but it’s a thin cheap coating that peels after an only 2 years. I bought 4 LG appliances under 3 years ago and 2 are peeling. It’s so disappointing.

I chose this dishwasher specifically for its 3rd rack, adjustable 2nd rack and low db. It started off so quiet that we didn't know it was even running! But after 2 months of use, it is quite loud! I have no clue what happened. I'm very sad because I like this dishwasher.

I had such high hopes for LG based on my positive experience with my 2 LG TVs, but the dishwasher was a serious disappointment. RXO company sent their technician to install the product who never called me 30 minutes prior as per the rules and just showed up at my door. After removing my working old dishwasher, he tried to run a quick wash cycle but the dishwasher won't release the water and the technician said its a defective product. I told him to take it back and put my old dishwasher back so that I can continue to use my old appliance but he refused to install it. I couldn't install it myself so I called someone to do it for me and paid him $100. I even cut my hand while I was trying to help them clean the space for them and all I got in return is a useless product and poor customer service plus a loss of $100 for nothing. I should sue LG for this and cancel my order. To other customers, please be aware of these kinds of companies and make sure you clear the terms before allowing them to install.

The overall features of this dishwasher are great and does what you need in a dishwasher. However, just about a year and a half after purchase we had both the control board and door latch mechanism fail, from what likely is to be a moisture issue. After reading other reviews and similar customer issues online, it seems this might be a fairly common issue with these machines. Rather than pay to have it repaired a third time, we are replacing the unit entirely with a different model. Disappointing that machines at this price point are not built to last longer than 1-2 years.
