1) Everything molds if you don't run it daily 2) Bottom rack has no place for 2" deep pans (cake, etc) 3) Bottom rack gets stuck all the time 4) Silverware holder needs to be in front 5) Cannot fit both bowls and cups on top rack???? Who designed this?

Long story but due to kitchen reconstruction had been without a dishwasher for 6 months until this was finally prepared to be installed. The dishes came out wish a clean feeling that I can’t remember from before. Maybe a legacy of too much hand washing but it was awesome. So far, so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are so happy with the new dishwasher. We have not used all the features yet, but just our normal cleaning cycle gets our dishes spotless…. And we are not huge on prerinsing. I also like the chimes that play at end of each cycle. This is much quieter than are last dishwasher as well, sometimes I have to double check it is on.

Only concern, and I am happy I noticed it before the warranty expires, is that I asked LG to send me a lower and upper rack because it started to rust. They were very accommodating once I sent pictures to prove rust was prevalent.

I have had my new dishwasher for about 1 month. It woks great, lots of nice features. I only have 1 complaint- the 3rd shelf is too tight to the top to put anything in. I had the 3rd shelf in my last LG dishwasher and I could put lids and measuring cups in it, this one only very flat things

There is a built in air-gap, but the previous guy that came told me I needed to install one, which I don’t think I do. I need an LG professional to come and fix it. It’s a brand new unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new dishwasher. I just wish it had a dry cycle that actually dries dishes. I’m disappointed that after trying all of available drying cycles none of them actually dry the dishes and plastic items are full of water in rims, bottom inside and bottom outside. They must be hand dried. Everything must be hand dried. LG typically is a top of the lube product but the smart model is stupid! It’s not smart enough after taking 3 hours and 4 minutes to dry my diashes. I’m very disappointed for the first time in my LG purchase. I suggest buying a different brand if You want a dishwasher that washes and dries Your dishes.

I had two other brand of dishwashers and both had tore up and impossible to find help to try to troubleshoot or to get customer service to help with a repair. So we went with an LG this time. I have fallen in love with my dishwasher. It works so good. Especially for the price. It wasn’t that expensive compared to the brand name. I can’t rave about it enough. I accidentally put to much dishwasher cleaner in it and made and error code pop up and I got help with that easily and then if the troubleshooting didn’t work they would send out a repair person. I was so grateful. It righted itself after the steps I was told to take. It has 3 wracks and multiple settings which is an upgrade from my old one. I’m very happy with it. It’s fast, quite, and gets everything clean the first run.

This is my first ever brand new dishwasher. I was very upset when we first got it because it didn’t seem the dishes dried. After getting help from LG support we realized we needed the rinse aid. I still was like there is now way this is going to dry the dishes just from adding rinse aid. Well it did! It worked beautifully. So pleased with my purchase
