I have been using this daily for years for my very dry skin. With the new 48 hr formulation, the smell is awfully perfum-y, but I thought I was getting the same product as I have been previously using. Just a week of this, and my fingers and toes started drying out and cracking - which was the clue to me that this new formulation was missing a lot of petroleum jelly, and no more shea butter in its ingredients. I will have to find another product to heal my dry and cracking skin. Not to mention the bottle's pump leaves 20% of what you paid for still in the bottle, and you can't open it liked the older versions.

Also the fact that is made by Vaseline ensures that I'm getting the nutrients thats needed for me to have a healthy glow.

I have been using Vaseline cocoa butter for years without problem. Today I opened up a new package that was purchased in a three pack. I immediately noticed how thin the cocoa butter was going onto my hand. I placed it all over my face as usual and noticed a different smell too the bottle is new Vaseline jelly. Vaseline Cocoa butter with jelly comes in the same exact bottle as the regular cocoa butter without Vaseline jelly. Vaseline company should have advised that this was a different product on the bottle advising customers that is different from the regular Vaseline, cocoa butter, and one cannot tell the difference since the bottle is exactly the same. The only difference in the new Vaseline cocoa butter is that it has Vaseline jelly in it. making the product thinner and has a barely noticeable little tiny notation on the bottle Vaseline jelly. I expect when a company changes the product that they will advise on the bottle that the product is different in someway so the customer knows it’s different, which I noticed immediately. I hope I suffer no adverse actions from this new cocoa butter with Vaseline jelly in it.

The initial scent of this product is very off-putting, reminiscent of cheap nylon with an overpowering hint of artificial chemicals. Unfortunately, this unpleasant smell lingers on the body for a long time. While the cream itself absorbs well and leaves no residue, the lasting scent is a significant drawback due to its cheap and synthetic odor.

The scent of cocoa butter is so nice and with this being non greasy makes it even more wonderful. I love using this after a bath, leaves my skin silky smooth without any residue. Overall I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend. As always Vaseline never disappoints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Vaseline intensive care cocoa radiant 48 hr moisture lotion to try and I absolutely love it. I use it right after a shower and it makes my skin etremely soft and glowing. Yes it lasts for 48hrs. The smell is amazing as well. This is not greasy or oily feeling and soaks right into to the skin. My skin was so dry, not anymore thanks to this lotion. I highly recommend this.

I love the new formula, it gets absorbed super quick so I don't have to keep rubbing for minutes and it lasts all day leaving my skin moisturized and glowing without feeling sticky and wet. As for the new bottle I think it's really cool and fun to use but I think it would work better if it only had one turn direction to the side instead of 360 that would ease out the whole right-side, wrong-side situation

This product has help my skin a lot. I have rough and bumpy skin. It has significantly reduce this and some areas total gone. I use twice a day as recommended. I don't know what the old formula smelled like but the smell here is not all that great but I don't see this as a reason to give it a one star. Working great for me. Does what it claims to do.

I have been using this specific lotion for many years, and Vaseline lotions all of my life. I have had severe dry skin, and eczema all my life and have to use lotion on my entire body every day. I have and have used Vaseline, despite receiving recommendations for other lotions from dermatologists because Vaseline lotions has had such a high content of petroleum jelly (the 2nd ingredient in some of their lotions) and this worked better than anything else. Years ago I used the Advanced Repair, but they changed the formula, and pertroleum jelly was not longer the 2nd ingredient. I could feel it. So I switched to the Vaseline Cocoa Radiant, and it has been perfect. But a few weeks ago I noticed my skin was getting very flakey, and the lotion didn't feel as thick and rich. I check the bottle, and sure enough, they have changed the tried and true formula. I am devastated. As a lifetime Vaseline used (now in my 40's) I will have to find something better. Vaseline, if you are listening, please make a lotion again with high petroleum jelly content. So sad that I can no longer recommend this lotion.
