In love

We bought 2 of these at the same time. One opened up as expected and is a very comfortable mattress. The other came out with terrible creases and would never lay flat. After 3 days, we called Serta who told us we'd have to call Sams.which we did. We returned the bad one in exchange for a new one. The new one came out even worse. It looks like a shriveled raisin on one side and is shaped more like a canoe than a mattress.

I bought this mattress about a week ago at the store, opened it and has been sitting on the foundation since and it is shaped like a canoe! It expanded to this boat shape within an hour of opening and hasn't changed or expanded since. I bought the same mattress about 8 months ago and it expanded perfectly and sleeps well! Not sure if it is related to the "New Smaller Box" that is advertised or manufacturing but either way, this one is a waste!

Like all the other reviews are saying, it won't lay flat even after leaving it out of the box for the recommended time frame. It's especially unfortunate because once you remove it from the box, it's much harder to transport back to the store for a return.

We bought this bed based on the good reviews of the bed in a bag in a box. We should've taken the poor reviews more seriously. The beds are apparently hit or miss in how they unroll and fill out. After a week ours was still a taco. I took the cover off and saw why, the middle layer between foam and top was melted solid in two spots, the length of the mattress not allowing for expansion of the foam.

This is a review from your local FedEx delivery man: I have delivered probably 200 mattresses weighting anywhere from 150lbs to 80lbs alone. This mattress is comfortable I am sure after reading other reviews but what I would like mention about this product is about its ergonomically designed box. What I am trying to say is that this product comes with built in wheels which make my job easier and easier for their customers to maneuver this heavy thing I to their homes.thank you Serta for helping all of us out. Very comfortable

Great buy

Bought it a month ago, it still hasn't fully opened yet. So, defective. Trying to get ahold of my local Sam's Club where it was purchased (4736) is impossible... it rings about 30 times, and then a very annoyed woman picks up and says "Sams Club Please Hold" and then I sit on hold for anywhere between 15-20 minutes before getting frustrated and hanging up, only to try again and again. It's unbelievable and frustrating. I just want a mattress that actually lays flat. Is that so much to ask?

Purchased this mattress in store in beginning of May. Took it home and immediately opened it. It had a really bad chemical smell. We figured we would let it air out, after all it was rolled in a box. Two months later, the mattress still omits an odor. We bought it for my son and every morning his room would smell, his clothes and hair would smell. It was horrible. Had to return the mattress.
