discription

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my favorite feature on a Samsung TV is its Ability to not be broken how Samsung can come through your remote control and literally fix your broken TV. i Have used it Twice in my life On to different Samsung TV that I owned. never broken!

Over the top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were pleasantly pleased with the clear and beautiful image of our new Samsung TV. This new Samsung with all the new features and our age, 83, puts all but watching above our head. After the covid is pasted and we get some visits from our grandchildren come to show us how, we plan on doing some streaming. So far every Samsung product we have owned has been excellent.

Samsung continues to get better and better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to upgrade my 50 in Samsung which was about 5 years old. I looked at a few different models but of course ended up going back to Samsung. When I looked at the options I was only looking for a 55-inch and this one was great. Would definitely recommended it for you if you looking for ATV at a great price

HDMI/ARC

i've been shopping for a new tv for about 3 years now, i've gone with the samsung 8 series 43”. i bought it hooked up soundbar through the hdmi arc. at first it worked without a hitch, mind you i've had this tv for about 24 hours now, when hdmi arc stops recognizing the soundbar at you can't find the source in the list so it reverts to tv audio. i have to unplug cord from tv and wait and then reconnect power up so the tv recognizes the darn soundbar. i shouldn't have to do this, what did i spend my money on,? what am i doing wrong? i may take this tv back and buy a cheaper version such as lg

Excellent picture quality

there are a few things that disappoint me about this tv. first, when using the optical audio output, the volume control is non-functional... this causes problems when trying to use a bluetooth transmitter to enable the use of wireless earbuds. second: unlike an older samsung smart tv i own, the new os (tizen) cannot play a large number of videos i have on an external disk drive. this is an important feature, for me, and might cause me to consider other manufacturers when buying a new tv.

Cool features, but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy the native apps and they run smoothly. I appreciate the airplay feature being built in. Negatives: after 2 returns, all 3 tvs had some sort of light bleed from the edges. I also was excited to be able to open the smartthings app on my phone and control my devices from the TV but this app is not available, though it's shown as an icon on the box. Lastly (personal, yet likely rare gripe), my 2016 samsung TV supports the ability to cast the TVs screen to my phone (reverse casting) but the 2020 model doesn't. That was disappointing to me and something I assumed would be available.

Sonos Home Theater Soundbar Incompatible

samsung and sonos to confirm that samsung tvs specifically have known issues with hdmi-cec e-arc compatibility with the tv sending an audio signal to the soundbar. the beam works otherwise with all other wifi synced speakers and only connects to the samsung tv for a few minutes before dropping. help! firmware update? cec settings? i have turned on hdmi earc anynet settings, played with auto signal detection settings, of course plugged it into the designated e-arc input, changed hdmi cables, ordered a samsung compatible arc compatible hdmi cable on amazon (it's on its way), and plugged and unplugged other hdmi devices in case they were interfering.

Amazing customer support (heavy sarcasm intended)

i tried ordering this tv three times on your website and each time i do - the order goes through - i get a confirmation email followed by an email that states "your order was cancelled". i called samsung three separate times. the first time i was told to try placing the order again (which i did). to my surprise the same thing happened again - i got an email confirmation followed by a cancellation. the second time i called i was told the problem lied with my bank and i should try using a different payment method. i went ahead and called my bank - they told me there were no problems on their end. i went ahead and called samsung again and explained the situation only to be told "they cannot make every customer happy" and "i should try making the purchase elsewhere".

Great picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV was purchased as an upgrade/replacement for an earlier model 4K TV that was on it's way out. The picture quality is impressive, and the TV is much more responsive than the other brand when switching through apps. Highly recommended.

The 65inch 8 series UHD is a very high quality TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After getting this TV mounted in my living room, I now spend majority of my nights accidentally sleeping on the couch in the living room. The easy access Mini remote gives you the ability to control through all the different apps very efficiently. Also Samsung was smart to create Samsung tv plus which is a free set of channels that actually are relative from what you would think since it is free Service. Overall Great product, would recommend anyone the 8 series and up Samsungs.
