My wife and I watched Thursday Night Football and it was as though we were in the huddle. I have a top shelf high definition TV and I thought that was the best picture I had ever seen. This TV blows it out of the water. Samsung is the giant for a reason.

Spectacular Picture

Samsung has always produced a great product. This tv is no exception, great picture, easy to install, looks great in my home! Just in time for football season!!! Great buy!
(However Sam's club offered a $200.00 in store gift card about a week after my purchase, I would like my gift card also) waiting to see what happens?

My new TV!

got this tv in 2020, when it came out. originally it was a downstairs tv for the family, after about two years it came into my room as a setup tv. whenever i didn't have a new receiver, i used the optical port on the back to get sound. this tv has ben taken off the wall, moved around, moved houses, and not one problem. this tv has had more screen on time than any other tv i know of, and holds strong. the tv itself is kinda slow. but let's be honest. who gets a tv so they can navigate through the smart features? it plays all streaming services alright, and a cool thing about samsungs is that it has xbox. so, one fateful day i connected my xbox controller to it, and tried cloud gaming. works wonderfully, and even when i have terrible internet. plays in 4k uhd, as it says, but i don't think it has 120 hertz. not like i care, if you wanna be a nerd than stop scrolling down on my comment and go to newegg. all of the negative reviews are fake for all i care. this tv probably is somewhere overseas right now and soldiers fighting in a war can watch their shows on it. make sure to turn of autorun for everything, because that is the worst feature ever invented. but yeah. i think you can even connect a keyboard and mouse to this thing and browse the internet. badass tv. completely recommend.

Perfect tv for our family room. Has all the connectivity things you would need. Surprised by how much I enjoy the SamsungTV channels. VEVO plus constant reruns of reality tv shows. I'm here for it. Delivery was prompt and professional. Perfect gift for my husband.

Perfect Christmas gift for hard-to-please guy

The TV is awesome!  Easy to set up and the picture is phenomenal. I really like that I can get apps and not have to use my fire stick.  The only draw back was the shipping company!  Shipping took entirely too long. Couple of issues with them and then the delivery guys were really rude!

Great TV!

Great TV.  This device does it all. Beautiful picture.  I hanged this beast by myself using a "Sumner" hand crank lift (rental). Protect flooring when using this lift. 
Note: There is no front film on the screen. Do not try or attempt to remove thick plastic covering on screen. You will ruin your TV screen.  However, there's a thin strip of cellophane around the boarder which can be removed.  Sit back and enjoy your purchase.

GREAT TV

The picture is incredibly sharp when you have the high contrast set.  Lots of extra channels through Samsung, some that are actually good.  I had been working on my basement remodel since early summer and was using the future TV purchase as motivation to keep me on task.  Finished the basement, bought the TV, and it was better than I ever imagined it to be.

Better than I ever imagined ...

I do not recommend this TV. I plan to return it and can't wait. The picture is terrible unless your on a Samsung app, such as YouTube, Amazon Prime, etc. If this is all you watch on TV then it's probably great for you! Watching sports on this tv suck! The picture is so bad. We've discovered it's because the “refresh rate” is only 60 Hz which is so bad.

Not for sports watchers

I have purchased many Samsung TVs over the years. Disappointed in this 85 inch. First of all way too dark for streaming and night scenes. Cannot be adjusted to make it better. Measurement of backlight is 300. Comparable Sony is 700. More expensive TVs are up to 1500 or more. Secondly, the remote is terrible. Very difficult and huge learning curve to operate. I understand Samsung has brighter screens at a higher price point. It's contradictory to design a tv that is incapable of creating enough backlight to properly watch the very video it's designed to do. Bad job Samsung. Returned it and got a Sony with 700 backlighting. Much better!

Backlighting too dim. Remote is terrible

Right out of the box the TV doesn't work. The repairman came and said we need a part. It has been more than a week and we still have a paid for very large NOT WORKING TV. The store said to bring it back but we can't . It weighs more than 90 pounds and after assembling it it won't go back into the box which is too big for our car which is why we had it delivered.
