I haven't had the opportunity as yet to experience its efficiency, but the generator has completed its check runs each week and I am very impressed by the quietness of the generator. It's appearance doesn't detract from the home/landscape appeal. The service personnel who came out to install the generator were courteous and very respectful of the area they were working around including when they needed to come in the home. I am very pleased with my decision to buy and install this generator.

It is a bit of a pain to register the unit, The serial plate shown did not exist but the serial number was on the interface screen. It tells you to get the switch serial number also. So I had to open up the unit to get it, only to find that when I inputted the serial number it came up automatically. I assume the will happen when you purchase the generator that comes with the switch. Works great!

The contractor came within a week of my purchase and completed the installation within hours. They were very professional and worked diligently to limit the time we were without gas and electric service. The generator had been checked and prepared before arrival on the job. This meant that it started right up and tested fine. The clean up was exceptional, with very minimal disruption to my landscaping.

This is my second generic generator the old one servered my family well for long time. Now I bought a new one which is very nice ,easy operating, better external housing, better over all design now hopefully this one give us the same good service like old one did for years to come.

It's difficult to write a "review" of a piece of emergency equipment that one hopes never has to be used. Likewise, it is difficult to comment on the quality or value of such an item until it has been tested in a real emergency. This review is therefore based on my perceptions of the company. Generac has a strong,positive reputation in the local area and with many of my neighbors here in the rural part of the country. We seem to be on the bleeding edge of electrical reliability and frequently loose power, multiple times per year. I have seen Generac products flawlessly work as advertised with every one of my neighbors who own one and have heard of no complaints regarding the equipment. That is what I based my purchase on.

All of the information that we needed to make our decision about this major purchase and installation was offered from Generac. The evaluation done to determine which product we would need was also understandable and the product does seem to be the perfect match for our energy needs. We feel ready for hurricane season! Because of our ages and health conditions, evacuation would be very difficult and this eases our concerns greatly!

I completed the purchase, install and testing all by myself. Not a boast, but testimate to how easy the installation of the Generac 20kw whole house standby generator. We recently endured a severe storm and aside of the damage to our home and neighborhood, we were without power for over four days. We had portable generators and although they were very helpful, running all the extension cords and the dangers of fueling with gasoline is beyond the scope of what my wife can do. I will expand the installation by adding four power management modules PMM's to aid in the operation and systematic activation of high power draw assets such has central air, water heater, range and dryer. This give my family a sense of security and peace not previously enjoyed at our home. I highly recommend this system to anyone living in a region where power outages or strong weather threatens your lights staying on. Affordable, reliable, easy install and one of the best reputations in the generator industry.

we feel that this generator adds a lot of value to our home.we have a hard time when the power goes out with water in the basement.the generac takes care of that problem.it's a lot quieter than i thought it would be and it looks great and blends right in with the landscaping.this is a great product.
