This is a great product. It performed beautifuly during tropical storm Irene. The engine starts right up every time and is very quiet. Fuel consumption is not to be believed. This unit burns almost nothing. I would recommend this product to anyone. PS It looks good also.

This gives piece of mind for me I can't count the number of times the power has gone out while we were out. This generator doesn't have me running home to get the generator hooked up so the basement doesn't flood again. Also as we are both getting up there in age it was getting to be a little difficult to pull the generator out and hook it up. No more trying to find the flashlights the kids had been playing with. This was one of the smartest buys I have made.

We have had our generator for a couple of years now. It automatically comes on each week to let us know that it is standing ready to serve. Since installation, it has only automatically came on once for about a 18 hour period. It worked perfecty! Well worth the expense for our peace and mine.

I would recommend this product to anyone that wants peace of mind to know that you will have water, heat and the ability to keep your home up and running no matter what causes the power outage. It came on during this past summer when the excessive heat caused trouble. There is never a break in your power when it comes on. The lights don't even flicker. It tests itself weekly. After going through an ice storm and not having any water or heat for over two weeks, I had to have this generator. We live in the country and are on well water and have a water system for our horses. I can't say enough about our installer, Mr. Electric. He is the most caring professional I have ever met. He is the only person I will call to deal with any electrical concern that may come up in the future.

This product does exactly what the manufacturer says it will do. It's been in place at my home for 1 year and really provides the family with comfort and security in knowing we will no longer loose power. We have it managing the whole house and have our 220 appliances on the shedding circuits in the automatic switch. All I can say is that I love it and have bragged with photos on Facebook.

I like everything about the generator. The only thing I would change is the battery charger. Myself and two friends have the same model and all of us had to replace the battery charger within six months. We replaced with aftermarket charger/conditioner and works great. It has worked great ever since.

Nice generator. Went with Generac based on reviews and the fact that my old neighbor had one for years without issues. Install time was lengthy...took a team of two installers from 8am to 9:30pm and still didn't quite get it completed. Quality appears high except for a few interior panels that did not fit together well. Unit will run most of my home and I have 2 DLM's installed to shed the Hot Tub and Double Wall Oven. I am an electrical engineer and highly recommend this model and it's a good value for the money but, if you need/want a generator, this would be the one to buy.

Having a Generac 20K whole house generator installed by Metro Electric has given my wife and I peace of mind. If there is a power outage we will have the power we need. The workers of Metro Electric did a GREAT JOB! They continued working even though there was a yellow jacket nest right where they had to work. The worker got stung three times on the head. The other worker was stung on the neck! the pipe fitters putting in the gas line were stung as well, but they continued the job until it was done. I would recommend Metro Electric to anyone who wants a whole house generator. We were very impressed with the way the gas line was all painted and the cleanup of the job site was done. Great job!
