My generator failed to run after the first exercising period of 10 minutes. A part that controls the gas flow was not properly manufacturered resulting in the failure. It was fixed but I'm still concerned when it has to work for an extended period.

This is a terrific asset to our home! It is reliable in this climate. Living in the country we tend to lose power frequently! Since we have a great generator, that is no longer a concern!

I built my house 5 years ago in rural East Texas. I wired for, but didn't put my generator in until 2 years ago. We have used the generator a few times, once for nearly 48 hours! Our 20 kW kicks on in under 10 seconds and powers the entire house!

My generator is on it 3 Control Board in 5 years that I have owned it. Seems like Generac has issues with the Control Boards and they are doing nothing about it. I'm concern that every few years this is going to be a issue. David

The utility power were I live is less than reliable. Everyone in the area has a whole-house generator so I knew I'd better get one too. It's a high quality, good looking product. Performed flawlessly during the test out. I'm sure it's going to perform just as well when really needed. I'm proud to own a product this nice. Also, I have to mention that all the generators in my area ar Generacs. The name is highly regarded and highly recommended around here.

We bought this unit after Hurricane Irene hit the Jersey Shore in 2011. It started right up after Sandy downed trees in our area. We followed all of the service recommendations exactly ... changed the oil and filter after 200 hours and in the meantime shut the unit down for an hour each day, and made certain the oil level was good. The unit failed after 10 days. We were getting an 'underspeed' or 'overspeed' fault. I'm sure that we will get this resolved but I can't recommend this product because I could not rely on it during a major power outage.

This is the best dependable performing Generator on the market. We ran our unit for four days straight with no problems during Hurricane Irma Never used a drop of oil. Fuel consumption was minimal for what this unit provided for us. Would highly recommend this product to any one serious about a home standby power source

I had just completed installing the 20KW Centurian with the automatic transfer switch less than a month ago and the unit performed flawlessly during Hurricane Sandy...automatic on for loss of power and auto off when utility power was restored. Great peace of mind...the unit is quiet and and reliable. I installed this unit after we had the destructive "derecho" in New Jersey on June 30 and lost power for 5 days...never again will we suffer through a power outage...

I have had problems w/ my two year old unit, and called Generac. they had me call One stop Generator Shop in West Palm Beach fl. Jurion Barbee came out. He worked the dashboard of my unit like Billy Joel plays a piano. He found the problem plaguing me for two months is less than two minutes. It's usually something simple. But he stayed for an hour. He ran the generator, took me through some technicals, told me I should have a load switch to delay my AC coming on, and told me what to look for. In the middle of our hurricane season, Junior took a great weight off our shoulders. They have a new client, One Stop. I don't mean a customer, I mean a client.
