It stands up to its promises : the plastic does not stain even when I use the container for chili, it is leak-proof and perfect to carry in my bag, the splatter-free lid keeps the microwave clean and the latches are useful to pick-up the container when it is very hot. Overall, this is a beauty! And beauty comes at a price! I would have given the Rubbermaid Brilliance five stars if it was a little less expensive.

My daughter started kindergarten this year and some days she takes her lunch. I had been using plastic zip-top bags to pack her sandwich and snacks, but food was easly crushed & spilled. So when I was sent these containers in order to review them, I tested them out in her lunch box. They're great for keeping her sandwich intact as well as keeping all her snacks (like popcorn, crackers & cheese, etc.) neat and tidy inside the containers. The seal is extremely strong, which I found out when my daughter tossed her juice pouch back in the container instead of the trash (gotta love 5-year-olds!). Not a drop of liquid was inside her lunch box. I can definitely see using these for leftovers, fridge storage, or to pack snacks for the zoo, amusement park, etc. Because they're clear, there's no guessing as to what's inside, either - very handy!

I always avoid bringing hot items or liquid due to it tipping over , and spilling in the bag. I first tested with dry squares for lunch then soup. If you want someone to see how sturdy an item is let me bring it to work. Tjis dish was smacked around and dropped many times with holding each time, and never broke or spilt the liquid. I was impressed to say the least. Iam using it again today for stew.

It is amazing how leak proof the container is with any soup, stew, sauce or even water when we are travelling with our dog. Dishwasher safe is a huge benefit for me as well, as a busy, working mom, I really dread doing any dishes by hand. The fact that it doesn't stain or get worn looking from the dishwasher makes it less embarassing when you are taking it out in public. I think my favourite feature is the vents to prevent splatters while microwaving, but still allowing steam to escape. I will absolutely recommend this to anyone, kids, moms, working men. Everyone needs a couple of these containers kicking around. I have used mine for coconut currey soup, left over Chef Boy-R-Dee and water when taking my dogs for walks. I have found no real downside to this product, except I find it a little high pricewise. I will just slowly build my collection over time.

I absolutely fell in love with the containers they look stunning and the close so tide that you could see the quality and have the condifence that it will work. I bought two and next day went for more. It value every penny. Not going back to other one.

I love how both containers keep select foods separated allowing me to pack a variety of snacks in one container. I especially adore the salad container. Having a salad set that keeps the greens on the bottom, toppings separated on the top, and dressing safely secured in its own spill-proof cup is pure genius.

I have several of these containers. They are great for anything that does not have liquid in it. I put my container in my work bag today, and it leaked all over the bag, through the bag, and onto my car seat. You can smell the salad dressing that I had put into the bottom of the container throughout my office suite. This is the third time one of these has leaked on us; my husband has experienced this twice. I will be looking for different containers for salads from now on.
