Great watch

I researched smart watches for a few weeks and decided to first try the apple watch. Used it for 2 weeks and returned it to get thie Garmin Venu 3. Garmin is better hands down. Better displays, still very easy to use, tracks more, and the battery life is 5x better than the apple watch.

Right in the middle.

Great mix of smart and sport features like most all of Garmin’s wearables it is bit more sport focused then a regular smart watch but more smart watch then others. I would recommend for anyone who wants a smart watch with great battery life but not on the extreme or expensive end of sport watches.

Great Watch

The Garmin Venu 3 was easy to set up and integrate with apps. Its light and comfortable for all day wear and does a great job of tracking runs. The Venu 3 can also work with fun apps for golf and other sports. The watch is great for beginners who are looking to get started with running and monitoring workouts and for experienced runners that need the basics without too many bells and whistles.

Great Watch so far

I have had this for 3 weeks so far. I had 3 Apple Watches prior to this. There are small nuances that I am learning to navigate through that are different from apple but overall I couldn’t be more pleased. I don’t regret the switch so far at all. Battery life is amazing and the health and exercise analytics are great.

Great watch - not very intuitive to use

After owning several versions of another brand of fitness/smartwatch and finding the accuracy and features lacking, I settled on the Venu 3 after much research. There is a bit of a learning curve to overcome - there are A LOT of features and sorting out which ones are important to you can take some time. The main ones I use are the EKG App, Steps, Heart Rate and Pulse Ox. The step count is much more accurate than my previous watch. At a recent doctors appointment I compared the Venu 3 readings to actual medical devices. Heart Rate was within a beat or two of being spot on, Pulse Ox was off by about 10 points - the finger monitor reading was 98% and the Venu 3 was 88%. My doctor was interested in the comparisons so we did this several times and the Venu 3 was consistently low. The big surprise for me was the EKG App - comparing the EKG readings from the Venu 3 and what was taken in the office showed almost identical readings. I was not expecting this level of accuracy. The Garmin messaging feature is cumbersome and not intuitive so I don't use it. Getting texts and call notifications from my iPhone works very well most of the time. There have been several times I have gotten a text but it didn't show up on my watch. Not a big deal to me, but if you're counting on 100% notifications, it may not happen. There are more apps and features on this watch than most people will likely use. That being said, it is very customizable to whatever data set you're looking to track. The downside is it is not very intuitive and getting things set up takes awhile and a measure of patience. If you very tech oriented this may not be the watch for you. The silicone band is secure, but gets uncomfortable after a long day, it doesn't breathe so sweat and moisture tend to collect. I haven't researched alternative bands yet, but I likely will. There are hundreds of alternative watch faces available to add, many free, some are not. It is very easy to overload the watch face with so much data it is near impossible to read. I have tried several different faces and gone back to the default every time. For my needs I am so far happy with the Venu3 despite some of its drawback.

Great Watch

I upgraded to the Venu watch from a Vivo active 3 and love it! It tracks everything I need and the battery last quite a while as well. I can usually get 3 to 4 days out of it up hunting before needing to charge it. Definitely probably recommend this for beginner or intermediate runners. Has a ton of choices to pick from for activities to track. Very satisfied with this purchase as I have had it for around a year now.

Venu 3 Makes Dreams Come True

I am elated with my new 45mm Venu 3. I was an Apple Watch guy, but quickly grew tired of it due to limited health stats and the need to charge it every day. Yes, the Apple Watch complemented by iPhone nicely, but its pain points, i.e., charge frequency, negated any benefits. My Venu 3 gives me more health stats, i.e., stress, than the Apple Watch. I wake up to a robust daily health profile that kills the Apple Watch's metrics. I was able to pair the Venu 3 to my iPhone w/o any problem. The 1 thing I cant do with the Venu 3 is respond to messages from the watch face - I see them, but I can't respond. This is the only loss as far as I am concerned - a minimal loss at best. My biggest upside to the Venu 3 is its OMG beautiful screen, robust set of health metrics, and that I get between 10 to 11 days of use before I have to charge it. If you haven't guessed, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Garmin Venu 3. Bye Bye Apple Watch.

Reliable, Accurate Features

This is my second Garmin Venu. The battery is long lasting, I don’t personally shower with device on but it is good for strenuous workouts. I appreciate the features and consistent updates. I do wish this was more aesthetically pleasing and that they valued the customers whom have had and continue to purchase products.

Awesome design and features

I got this watch for xmas and I am very happy with it. I like the different apps that can be added and mostly the fact that I can use GPS without having to buy data from a wireless mobile provider. I am still learning about the watch and look forward to take full advantage of every feature.

Awesome watch

I wore out my first Garmin so I reached out to them for a suggestion on a replacement. I got the most helpful rep who made suggestions based on my need. I bought the Venu 3 and I couldn’t be happier. It is an amazing watch with TONS of features. Unlike the Apple Watches I read about, the Venu battery lasts for weeks before a charge is needed. I couldn’t recommend this watch more.
