Great product with loads of capabilities!!!

Have been using it for nearly a month now and have loved every second of it. Simple interface that has made tracking simpler and more accurate. No longer bouncing from app to app to track different data points, it’s all right here. The battery life is by far my favorite. Instead of charging it everyday, I can go days between charges. When it does need charged, it ready quickly instead of waiting hours.

4 star for a reason

The watch itself is great and I love the new features as a previous Venu 2 owner. The step counter has been quirky for me. Especially starting the day it is notoriously bad at missing lots of steps. I have to usually restart it just to get it to be poor but then as the day goes on it gets better. Don’t expect the “nap” feature to work it doesn’t. Overall it is a good watch with flaws.

Venu 3

Primarily purchased this for heart rate feature. Also purchased the HRM Pro Plus Strap as I wanted the best accuracy during exercise and ability to sync the watch with a strap was important. So far, one or both are a bit below my expectations as at times there are discrepancies between the strap and the watch. High/Low Heart Rate Alerts don't seem to work. In walking, the accuracy of the steps/miles is way off showing under 4 miles when I have walked 5. Have tried to adjust stride length but apparently has no effect. Strap easily syncs with stationary bike at the gym but watch app does not show distance or speed for this activity. I did download a watch face from the IQ app as the stock watch faces all have small icons/font size for heart rate and hard to see at a quick glance. Watch itself is a bit large, 43 mm would likely be a better size. Have reached out to Support a few times with questions and they have been helpful.

Nice Watch!!

I got this a couple weeks ago. Didn't need it as my old watch still worked, but my wife likes her Garmin so I started looking. Very confused in figuring out which model I wanted. I think the Venue 3 is indeed the which I was looking for. More money than I wanted to spend but very worth it. Takes time to learn navigation but not too difficult. Also paired to Garmin blood pressure monitor. That took a minute but works fantastic. Got an aftermarket band that I love and fits perfect.

Abandon Your Apple

I bought the Venu 3 when I was training for my half marathon and didn’t love the stats on my Apple Watch. I was worried the Venu 3 would be too big on my wrist going from a 41mm Apple Watch but this watch is 10/10. It is more comfortable than any Apple Watch I’ve ever worn. The stats and information from workouts is phenomenal as well as the recovery information and sleep coach. There’s also not even a close comparison when it comes to the battery life. I used to have to charge my Apple Watch every single night and I can wear my Venu for multiple days and not even be close to needing to charge it. So glad I made the switch.

Sports-Good Smart-Meh

As a sportswatch, am really liking the Venu 3--the updated HR sensor does a nice job of tracking, the GPS is great on my runs and hikes; body battery is somewhat useful. Sleep tracking is just ok--I don't rely on it (unfortunately, it impacts the body battery too). I went with the Venu 3 over, eg, a Forerunner because I wanted the updated HR sensor and also I had hopes that the Venu would provide some useful but limited smartwatch features. Overall, am disappointed in that--eg, the Voice Assistant is very slow to activate, and since I have to carry my phone with me anyhow, I wind up just pulling out my phone. Standard text replies work ok. Not a big fan of using the watch to make or answer calls--it works decently, but so it's just a personal preference for me. I had problems with the speaker on my first Venu and got a replacement--but the buttons on the replacement are mushy, which is a complaint I've heard from others. Overall, I really wish Garmin would come up with a decent smartwatch that lets me leave my phone behind on runs (I need a phone for safety because of my location). But maybe the competition is too steep--or the watches would be heavy and throw off HR tracking on people like me with small wrists. Who knows.

there are some problems

Ox meter is too inaccurate. I have COPD so I track it often. My finger meter reads 93 to 96, the watch reads 87 to 90. I still can't get it to work with the Garmin Golf app to give yardage on the golf course. Instructions are really bad. Some features are too invasive and cause buzzing at inappropriate times. Some features are poorly explained.

An amazing smart watch!

Combine the smarts of an Apple Watch with the good looks of a Breitling or fine swiss timepiece and you have the Venu 3. There are terrific watch faces that make you look like you paid $10K for what's on your wrist. Then add accuracy and easy, and you're all set. I couldn't be happier.

Great product

I had the Venu before I made this purchase and was happy with it. The Venu 3 has great features and keeps track of all your fitness activities. It also has a new feature that allows you to place and receive calls which is good. The only thing is that the strap irritates my skin. Other than that, great product.

Great Hardware....Software could use a little work

I bought this 2 weeks ago switching from Fitbit. Battery life is the best hands down. Features are plenty for a fitness watch. The only complaint that I have is being able to reply back to Facebook Messenger through the watch. And I've had some disconnect issues once in a while. Still early with the device but other than that it looks great and feels great on my wrist.
