Awesome watch!
Perfect balance between a sportwatch and a smartwatch! Does a great and accurate job tracking all my activities! Also lets you get text and email notifications, and allows you to answer calls on your watch as long as your phone is connected. Great battery life! I get about a week or more with daily use. I had the Forerunner 965 witch gave you a ton of activity information but little smartwatch features. I traded it in the Venu 3! It was just what I was looking for! You won't be disappointed!
Okay, but not as advertised
I really want to love this watch, but I just can't... I can only just like it. It's good enough to keep, but I wouldn't buy it again even at half the price. Cons: * The battery life is NOWHERE near what is advertised. Even without the always-on display, if you track short exercises and your sleep, you'll only get 5-6 days. With the always-on display, you get two days max. Of course, you could put the watch into battery-saving mode and get a longer life... but then what is the sense of having an expensive smartwatch? * VO2 Max is a joke if you aren't a runner. To use it for cycling you need to have EXPENSIVE Garmin bike pedals (i.e. more than the watch costs)! This borders on false advertising! * Sensors are a bit suspect and unpredictable as compared to my cheaper smartwatch from the large search company. * The on-watch Golf app freezes all the time and is useless ... and IF it worked, to get the most out of it you have to buy sensors that cost as much as this watch * $$$$$$ The Garmin ecosystem is WAY too costly. Other fitness-tracking watches are much more reasonably priced with the same features. And if you want to spend a lot of money on a smartwatch, other watches are much more flexible with a similar battery life (using always on display) Pluses: * Like most Garmin watches, it does provide pretty detailed data and analysis. * Tons of add-on apps and watch faces ... though at this price point smartwatches from the world's highest-valued company offer way more features.

Looks great, love all of the health features
Biggest value I get from this watch is that wearing it continuously (while sleeping, at work, working out) outputs super helpful health metrics. Had some revelations about why I always feel so tired and it helped me prioritize sleep. Also being aware of when I get stressed at work and taking steps to decompress has been helpful.
So far, so good…
I’ve owned this product for 3 weeks now. All good, no complaints. I previously had an Amazfit smartwatch and this is an upgrade in every category. I’m still learning the interface and navigation but it has many options and features to keep me motivated to learn more. My only small complaint is having to use two different apps to manage the smartwatch. I haven’t been able to use the GPS and fitness tracking for much other than walking due to my current situation. Overall, a good upgrade and beneficial investment thus far.
Great watch. Easy to setup and configure. use it primarily for fitness tracking. it gives great heart data. found myself using it for meditation and yoga also. incredible battery life. the smart notifications don't work as well as the ones on my apple watch. overall much better than my apple watch and my old vivoactive.
Great watch with great battery life
At 74 years old I purchased the watch about 4 months ago for motivation to exercise and loose weight. I love the watch and features and found a watch face that displays the main features I want. With the set up I have I get 7 to 8 days of battery life before I need to recharge the watch. I’ve lost 25 pounds and believe a lot of that is due to motivation provided by the watch features.
Good product but...
1. The bottoms to cancel or confirm an activity are very sensitive. I must to be super careful to avoid tou h them.even with my shirt sleeves or just passing hands over the watch unintentionally. 2. Sometimes the watch send messages with no sense: i.e., I walked for couple ours and I'm eating or just quiet and the watch tell me "time to move" Still to new for me but I'm sure Garmin can improve this and more issues
Awesome smart watch and data tracker
I needed to replace my old Venu Sq which was nice back in the day, but I wanted something more current with a larger display. Being able to talk to Siri sending text messages and phone calls is good but a little slow in responding to Siri on my iPhone 14Pro. The Venu 3 is very intuitive to operate.
Lot's of information
I love that the watch has so much information available to me and that I can pick and choose what I want to see. After some practice the many menus become easier to use, but it did seem daunting at first. I like the ability to send quick responses to text messages from the watch and answer calls from the watch when I am not near my phone. Overall I am very happy with the watch and the only con I can think of is the purported battery life. My watch tends to last no more than 5-7 days when not using any of the GPS functions, which is far less than the reported 14 days it is supposed to get. I am not unhappy with the battery life, I am just noting that for me it does not last as long as advertised.
