Ok watch

The band that it comes with is small for my wrist and had to upgrade already. But it does stay charged longer then the other brands still learning the watch but basically a no frills watch so far. Issue is that I have an iPhone and do not get any messages through it but sometimes can get a call. Same price as an Apple Watch but battery last longer

Very good.

Pros: --Excellent Battery Life. --Fitness Apps and Amt of Data are accurate and amazing!! Way better than Samsung Watch 6 Classic. --Great integration with Speed Sensor 2 and Cadence 2. Accurate. --Heartbeat is accurate. --Body Battery is great. Coach is good. --Sleep app is acurrate, but I'm always getting Poor Sleep (that's on me, not Garmin). --HRV and Recovery is great. --Way more accurate that Galaxy Watch 6. --OK integration with smartphone. --IConnect is faster and more stable than better than Samsung/Wear OS. ---Has OK smartphone abilities. --Does Emails (via MS Office, and texts notifications). CONS: --Venu phone OS is not as polished as Samsung. It's built for button pushing, not for swiping. The OS really needs to be updated to modern times. --No Whatsapp integration. --Phone Volume is low. --Watch faces are OK, but could be better. Overall: --If you want a polished smartwatch, go for Samsung. But dont expect accuracy in their fitness areas. --If you want a semi hardcore fitness watch that does more than average, (not triathlonr/Pro Level, but more than average), and you are willing to trade some of the polish for fitness functionality, have basic smartphone connections, with MP3 player, and Amazing battery life (14 days max no bluetooth or constant on screen, but abt a week with constant bluetooth connections)--this is the watch to get.

Great Product

My husband and I both purchased the Venu 3 a few weeks ago and we are both very happy with them. I got the larger size and quite happy I did. It is a big face on my small wrist but worth it to see more words on the screen. I upgraded from the Vivoactive 3 and not looking back.

Enjoy it so far

Bought as an alternative to an Apple Watch and have been happy with it. I find it more intuitive and it blends in with the Garmin ecosystem well. I have an edge device for cycling and the combination is better for me than the Apple device. Battery life is excellent.

Heart Rate Accuracy

I upgraded from an older generation Garmin after heart surgery. My top priority was getting the most accurate, wrist-worn heart rate readings. The Venu 3 with the Elevate 4.0 sensor matches the heart rate monitor worn during cardiac rehab within 1bpm from rest up to moderately hard exercises. Extremely happy.

good battery life

The amoled display works well outdoors and almost everything runs right out of the box. Most options are available on the watch itself without having to open the app. Navigating the watch works surprisingly well thanks to the big touch display. However I find Garmin's Connect App confusing and crowded. Changing or just finding settings and especially customizing or correcting things is quite tedious. Especially gym workouts are annoying to track.

Unbelievable clarity!

I've had multiple Garmin watches, probably 7 total, and have loved them all. I got the Venu 3 because of being able to take calls from the watch but I'm most impressed with the clarity and touch screen. I also like the slimmer look for the office over the fenix. My only complaint is the watch band is short, I'm attach it on the 3rd notch from the end. Overall, another great product!

Love the watch faces!!!

My first fitness watch so I had no expectations. Was actually looking to replace my 20+ year Ironman Timex watch and couldn't find any that people really liked so I bit the bullet and upsized to Garmin. So far had no issues with the 45mm watch. Great health features with long battery life! Now if they could somehow integrate a CGM monitor it would be almost a must wear for everyone that cares about their health. Watch faces are bright/colorful with a clean interface. Lots to choose from! Change to a different one every few days! The Garmin SSO Portal site is well laid out and easy to navigate. No issue with the software of updates! It's a Garmin for heavens' sake. :) Love the exercise activities!!! My only concern is battery life. How many charges before you see a drop off in watch functionality? Like phones, there's a mean average of hours before failure. If I can get 5+ years then it's worth the investment.

Great for cyclists who already own a head unit

Coming from a Fenix 5S and a D2 Air X10. I also use an Edge 830 on my bike. This watch gives me almost all the info I want or need as far as my fitness. Combined with my 830, Garmin Connect gives me a pretty good picture of my health. The watch itself is similar to the D2 Air X10, but doesn't seem as polished. Considering it's $100USD less than the D2, I can see where they had to cut some corners on the finish. Having worn my Fenix 5S for many years (since 2019), I was ready for a more stylish watch. This definitely fits my criteria. The additional feedback on my rest and stress graphs give me a good idea of my diet. The sleep coach can be patronizing and/or unrealistic sometimes, but it can help. It helps me keep track of what my body is doing off the bike.

Versatile Watch

I got my watch a month ago and I am still discovering more features. I especially like the extended battery life particularly when I go on extended hikes using the GPS feature. I find the heart monitor much more accurate then my previous watch as well. The sleep feature is helping me to be more aware of my sleep quality. Highly recommend th Venu 3
