When buying this watch as a replacement or upgrade of another smart watch, you have to keep one thing in mind. The Garmin Venu 3 is the most "smart watch like" watch in Garmin's line-up, but it is a fitness tracker first and a smart watch second. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. The good news is that this watch has amazing health trackers, being very accurate. This watch also has smart watch features like notifications and text messages. However, the watch does not sync with your phone's notifications seamlessly like other watches on the market. Your notifications go to both the phone and the watch, a result of the third-party app Garmin Connect. I wish this was more seamless, but it is somewhat of a welcome change from the traditional smart watch from other manufacturers. The main thing I love about this watch is the battery life. Lasting up to 14 days with the Always On Display turned off is just amazing. Even with the Always On Display turned on, you still get up to 5 days out of the battery. This is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else on the market. In conclusion, if you want a fitness tracker that is also a smart watch, definitely take a look at the Garmin Venu 3. Amazing battery life and health sensors set this watch apart from the competition. However, if you are looking for a smart watch first, look elsewhere. The connection is not as seamless as other watches on the market such as the Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch.

This watch is as advertised. Data seems accurate and reliable and battery life last about 2 weeks. It's light weight and still stylish, which is the style I was interested in. It's very similar in size and style as the Samsung Galaxy but with better battery life and more data.

I upgraded from an older generation Garmin after heart surgery. My top priority was getting the most accurate, wrist-worn heart rate readings. The Venu 3 with the Elevate 4.0 sensor matches the heart rate monitor worn during cardiac rehab within 1bpm from rest up to moderately hard exercises. Extremely happy.

I upgraded from a 1st gen Venu suffering from pixel burn in and really love all the new features and improvements. More sleep feedback, better battery, larger and easier to see screen, better wrist activated turn on, etc etc. Even with the brightness on the lowest setting it is plenty bright. Really happy with it.

Having been a long time Fitbit user, I became frustrated with the lack of accuracy of my Versa 3 and the software and lack of support was increasingly frustrating. Having owned an Edge Explore I knew already the great Garmin potential so it took just a few minutes thought to move to the Venu 3 and drop the Fitbit in the bottom drawer. The quality of “free” reporting and the integration across devices and platforms as well as with Komoot is amazing. Perfect balance between a sportwatch and a smartwatch! Does a great and accurate job tracking all my activities! Also lets you get text and email notifications, and allows you to answer calls on your watch as long as your phone is connected. Great battery life! I get about a week or more with daily use. I had the Forerunner 965 witch gave you a ton of activity information but little smartwatch features. I traded it in the Venu 3! It was just what I was looking for! You won't be disappointed!

I originally brought the Garmin Venu 2 Plus, then I wanted to purchase one for my wife and found out about the Garmin Venu 3. We both have had Apple Watches in the past, and at the time believed they were great watches until mine just started to fall apart. I refused to purchase another Apple Watch and was looking for a replacement when I found your Garmin Watches. My wife & myself love our Garmin Venu 3 watches and know beyond a shadow of a doubt it was a great purchase. We love all of its features, Watch faces, reminders, huge watch face and different faces we can have on our watches. As far as we are concerned, Garmin hit a Grand Slam Bases loaded home run and we are Thankful.

I've had multiple Garmin watches, probably 7 total, and have loved them all. I got the Venu 3 because of being able to take calls from the watch but I'm most impressed with the clarity and touch screen. I also like the slimmer look for the office over the fenix. My only complaint is the watch band is short, I'm attach it on the 3rd notch from the end. Overall, another great product!

I have the original Venu that I purchased 4 years ago and it got a lot of use. I was ready to upgrade my Garmin watch and decided to go with the Venu 3. The watch functions are intuitive, the screen is brighter and crisper and it charges very easy.

No matter how good Garmin watches are on release, the fact that they don't get feature upgrades will always hold them back. Most every platform improves the experience of their devices throughout their lifespan -- except Garmin. Although they do release some (presumably) bug fixes -- I never saw a changelog. I noticed one weird inconsistency on my Venu 1 that never got fixed. Otherwise, a solid improvement over my Venu, although a more modern design would be appreciated.
