These dark chocolate morsels are perfect - not too bitter like others I have tried, and enough richness to add a boost over milk chocolate. I have always preferred dark chocolate, and these chips are the best! I used these in a Spicy Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookie recipe - the original recipe called for milk chocolate chips, but I subbed the dark chocolate chips. It was a perfect complement to the cayenne pepper in the recipe. These are very versatile and can easily be used in any recipe calling for chocolate chips. I have been a fan of the dark chocolate morsels for years. I just purchased two bags for making fudge and just eating as snacks. Much to my surprise the formula is different. The flavor is different and the techure is different. I am not a fan. This is my go-to chocolate fix and I really want the old formula back.

These dark chocolate chips are great in muffins, cookies, scones, and cakes. They melt well to make a wonderful fudgy icing or coating for strawberries or cake pops. I am not a big fan of dark chocolate but I actually prefer the dark chocolate morsels in the chocolate chip cookies than the semisweet. I didn't change anything with the recipe and mine turned out perfect. I always use cold butter never soft or the cookies flatten out.

I have used these chips in 2 different recipes. The person who I make them for loves them and is always asking for more. Chocolate Chip Cookies and Gouache that was used in a dark chocolate cake. The chips melted nicely for the recipe. I will continue to use all Nestle chips they haven't failed me.

Dark chocolate is one of my most favorite of the chocolate family. When using these morsels in a cookie or bar just takes it over the top and give it kick it needs to be more flavorful and delicious. So much better than the no-name brands. Besides flavor, dark chocolate makes me happy, so, if the cook is happy, everyone is happy.

I made Oreo truffles using the Dark Chocolate Morsels for one batch and Semi-Sweet for a different batch. While I found each capable of melting enough to use as a dip and covering for the truffles, the Dark Chocolate melted much more smoothly, allowing for a much better texture for the truffle. I prefer these hands down vs. the Semi-Sweet Morsels for melting chocolate.

I love dark chocolate so was excited to try these NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Dark Chocolate Morsels! They are absolutely delicious! I love the way they taste in chocolate chip cookies. I mixed these with the white chocolate chips in the standard chocolate chip cookie recipe and the cookies came out great! The picture for this recipe of dark, mint flavored fudge shows a nice thick piece of fudge, made with Dark Chocolate Morsels, Mint-Filled Morsels & Sweetened Condensed Milk. My fudge made in the recommended 8' SQUARE PAN is FLAT and does not slice-but is gooey. It has been in the frig for 6 hours-I don't think it is ever going to thicken up....what a waste of my time & money! By the way, I am famous among friends for my fudge. I don't know why I thought sweetened condescended milk would thicken up with 10 ounces of barely melted chocolate...... Relish magazine must of messed up the ingredient amounts.
