I bought this at the beginning of covid lockdown as a new hobby. I love it so far easy to clean and set up. Only complaint is the thermometer on the top isn't always accurate. I suggest buying a hand held near probe thermometer and a hanging thermometer for inside.

I bought this smoker for my wife, she loves it! We have been smoking, turkey & turkey breast, chicken, fish, vegetables and some of my favorites. Like Brisket and ribs, we have also smoked steaks and then finished them off on the grill for a good sear! And we use it at least twice a month

This smoker has worked very well for me smoking everything from salmon, whole chicken and turkey, and pork ribs and shoulders. The wood chips sideloader is super convenient and keeps your smoker at temp. The app with bluetooth connection let's you keep an eye on it while your doing other things. This smoker is ideal for me as I don't sit still for long and I can trust it to do its job

I'll start off positive: My first meal came out wonderfully! Plenty of room inside for more meat than I could ever use. Solidly built. Maintains the set temperature well. Being able to add wood chips without opening the door and losing heat and smoke is a plus. Now for the fails: It arrived in a good solid box, however it was not packed very well inside. The door had come off, and shelves and some parts were just loose inside. But there was no damage, the door fit back onto it's pegs, and it all assembled fine. So maybe just lucky. The display is difficult to read in any kind of light. The bluetooth function fails to link to your phone from just 20 feet away without obstructions. After the first use, the window is pretty useless. The smoking process gets it coated in grease, so I'm still searching for a cleaner that will remove all of it. You can't just start your meat and walk away until it's done. You have to reload the little wood chip tray that only holds enough for between 30 and 45 minutes. . So, after all that commentary, this is my first electric smoker, and I am overall pleased with the job it does. Beyond the end result of delicious smoked meat, the main benefit to me has been the automatic temperature control. Used to be I had to manage both fuel and smoke, and now it's just smoke. I used a third-party remote temperature monitor with multiple probes, so I can't comment on the built-in probe. Not knowing much prior to purchase, I will say I am satisfied even with the shortcomings Nothing is perfect.

Purchased this smoker about three years ago and use it at least three times a month. Primarily pork, but the occasional turkey or chicken also. The electronica temperature in time setting make it very easy. The key to longevity is keeping it clean. I have had to replace the element, but overall very pleased with the product.

I received as an anniversary gift. This is my first electric smoker to own. I like that I can set it and forget it and the results are perfect. The Bluetooth is great but I do wish the range on the Bluetooth was better than just 10ft. After I am 10feet away is looses connection. Other than this issue, I feel it is a great product.

Bluetooth goes into safe mode the first time you open the door. And cannot be taken out of safe mode without remove Bluetooth device from your phone. Plus, the unit does not give instructions as to how often you must add new wood chips. Also, LED characters on screen are to light to be seen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vertical smoker. Mine is one of the older versions that does not have the stand. I have had it for 4 years now and use t at least a few times a month. It always produces the best end product. I love how you can control the smoke level by adding the chips vis the external inserter. It is very large and can hold alot of meat. I also use it to make Jerky!

Smoker works very well but the Bluetooth range is about 8 feet! I mainly bought it for the Bluetooth, and the window. My $12 earphones have waaay better Bluetooth range. What's even the point of having Bluetooth if you have to almost be within arm's reach? It also disconnects every few minutes and sometimes won't reconnect!

This was a Christmas gift from my Mother-in-Law in 2018. This smoker will give you BBQ that is better than you will get at ANY restaurant! I have cooked brisket,ribs,boston butt,pork loin, and more. This is like cooking in your convection oven outside with the ability to smoke.You will not regret buying this smoker or any other Masterbuilt product. If you like to smoke low and slow and enjoy cooking real BBQ then this is for you. I have tended my smoker for lengthy smokes for numerous time now, dry chips will last for about 45 minutes before you need to add more. I enjoy cooking and don't mind adding chips. It is part of the process, slow down and enjoy cooking.
