I just did my first ever smoking of a chicken and it was awesome. I love the temperature probe telling me the meat temperature. It's too bad I can't see the meat temperature on my Masterbuilt app but it is really an awesome smoker. I couldn't be happier.

Over the last couple of months, I have ran through 6 boston butts, 10lbs of wings, 3 racks of baby back ribs, corn on the cobb, 25lbs(in one cook) boneless skinless breasts, Boneless teriyaki chicken thighs... Salmon too! Not one single thing came out that wasn't good. Love, Love, love this thing! And now everyone wants to come over for the food because suddenly I am an instant pro! I was told that an electric smoker was the easiest and I am convinced that it is! Precision temp setting, the meat probe keeps me from under/over cooking. The small amounts of wood it takes to smoke anything in this is amazing with flavor! I love the bluetooth option if I need it to monitor the unit while working on other things...but I set the time the temp and let it cook! Absolutely the simplest and best flavorful smoker on the planet! 6 stars not 5

I have had a 30” Masterbuilt for more than a decade, but it finally succumbed to the elements (salt air as I keep it outside at my beach house). Love this larger model, and got it for about the same amount I spent on my 30” a decade ago. It was delivered in good condition and quickly, and I love the large capacity, the internal meat thermometer, and the Bluetooth, which let me monitor the meat from inside the house. I've smoked wings, a prime rib, and made a smo-fried turkey for Thanksgiving. Couldn't be happier.

Bluetooth doesn't work properly and the hinges for the door came warped.in shipping, so the door doesn't always stay shut. Also doesn't fit 8 pork butts unless you want them uncooked and still raw after 14 hours of smoking. The product smokes well, but the quality of the machine is not great. I wouldn't buy it again.

What can I say I mean it dosn't lead a pampered life sits out in the West Texas weather 24/7 and just keeps on performing like it is supposed to. Hail destroyed the control panel ordered a new one it was easy to install and just keeps right on doing what its supposed to do

I took back my cantankerous Tr**ger Pro and went with the MES 340G. No regrets! Hold temp EXTREMELY well. My only complaint is the chip feeder is small, and the tray doesn't hold many chips. I purchased a 12” pellet smoker tube to cut out all the running back and forth to add chips for my low and slow smokes, and it seems to be working out great.

I got this smoker after having the 30 inch model for a couple of years. I loved that 30 inch model because I had the cold smoker attachment that I used as the primary source of smoke. I loved being able to cold smoke cheese etc. So I figured I'd upgrade to the larger 40 inch model to accommodate a full rack of ribs or just a lot more meat. I got my new model for Christmas 2019. I made a huge mistake in not paying attention to the reviews. It's poorly designed and ruins more meat with its lack of temperature consistency. Because the heating element and smoke box are both inside of the main compartment- you have two heat sources making it difficult to maintain a consistent temperature. The wood chunks will often catch on fire causing the temperature to spike 50-100 degrees. The wood chunk box is so small that you can barely fit chunks from most suppliers into it without needed to chop them into smaller pieces. And they don't make a cold smoker attachment for it either! Poor design in multiple ways. The Bluetooth feature is so weak that if I'm more that 10 feet away I have lost connectivity. Not to mention the multiple times I've had to remove and add the same smoker to get it to function. I'm in the market for a new smoker

Bluetooth goes into safe mode the first time you open the door. And cannot be taken out of safe mode without remove Bluetooth device from your phone. Plus, the unit does not give instructions as to how often you must add new wood chips. Also, LED characters on screen are to light to be seen.

I have had my smoker for over 6 years. This is my second one. The first one I gave to my son when I moved. As soon as I relocated I purchased another one. I love smoking Prime Rib Roasts, Pork Ribs, Beef Brisket and Salmon. Everything I smoke comes out perfect and would highly recommend the 40" electric smoker for any beginner or advanced smoker.

I gave my hubby a digital electric smoker as a surprise Christmas gift last year. He was more excited than a kid on Christmas morning! He has turned out some incredible meals this year from his smoker. He has tried about every meat imaginable as well as smoked Mac and cheese and queso with delicious success!!! It has truly made having to eat at home way more fun. I don't think I will be able to top last year's Christmas surprise.
