I bought this garbage because it said it is a 13.2 gallon, yet it is not as large as our other 13 gallons. I am disappointed in the size and how little it holds.

Older version works better

Still a good trash can but you need to hover over the sensor for a couple seconds so close that you might as well open it by hand, so it's not as easy as the version we bought a couple years ago. No idea how to adjust it either.

I'm amazed at how much this trash receptacle holds. The touchless feature is priceless. However, at first I found myself accidentally turning it on each time I passed it, until I chose a better location. The large mouth top makes clean up very easy: i.e., large bones, large melon rinds and vegetable remnants from a cutting board directly into the trash.

Lid does NOT close

The lid does not shut all the way. It will close about half way and then stop. This started happening on day 3 and has continued with increasing frequency. Not a good product and such a hassle to return. Really disappointed with this purchase. I would never recommend the purchase of this garbage can.

I bought this specifically to keep my curious cat out of the garbage, it serves the purpose. Nice trash can, a little flimsy, but still works well. Batteries are not included and I dont think the description says they arent so be prepared to get "D" batteries for it.

Not worth the money! It's trash.. pun intended!

I have purchased two of these high priced trash cans and both times the lid has stopped opening all of the way. It's frustrating to spend that kind of money of a trash can that stops working properly in such a short time. I do not recommend wasting your money on this particular motion sensor trash can. Just not worth the money.
