This can is much better than those I've had in the past. The batteries are more secure and won't fall into the trash can. A definite improvement over the cans I've had in the past. I've had this over in operation for more than a couple weeks and all is good. I wish it was a little less pricey but hey, inflation.

Counter-productive Sensitivity

I wanted to like this trash can: the size and durability are good. But, the sensitivity on the sensor is, for lack of a better term, WHACK. You have to hold your hand over it for a second to get the lid to open, but every time we get anywhere near it, the lid opens. The irritation of that constant annoyance aside, it is also very counter-productive for a high-traffic kitchen.
