Just arrived, easy start up. First unit that arrived was damaged (ups). this unit seems solid except for a stripped screw on bottom side. Seems like it will work for our travel trailer/controlled edison power outages in our area.The remote start is a great feature for camping.

This thing as all of the features you could ask for. After looking around to buy a nice generator for our fifth wheel I kept considering Honda but there they are almost double the price. This thing looks to be very quality and also has a 30 amp RV plug. the only thing I can even begin to complain about is that when I filled it up with gas for the first time the drain for the carburetor bowl was open so it would leave gas on the floor but it was easily fixed. The remote start worked awesome it popped right off. I would recommend getting a magnetic oil cap to grab any shavings that come out of the engine also I would change the oil a couple times in the first couple hours. So far I'm super happy with it. Honda may be a few decibels quieter but there's no way to justifies double the price.

Recently purchased a Wildwood FSX 163RDSK and the iGen4500 is plenty of power with most appliances, pumps, and load on… even when the AC surge occurs. Sound Db is a bit higher than expected with eco off — needed for AC surge. During cooler weather, eco mode is much more quiet. It's probably overkill for trips without AC, but nice to have the option for unexpected southern weather changes! Unit arrived with battery drained and initial start with pull cord was a no-go. So if it has trouble starting from arrival, plug in the unit to charge the battery for a few hours. Even then it took 2 starter cycles for it to kick in. From the on, it has started right away… pull cord, button and remote. Recommend.

It took a long time to get the generator because it was on back order. It was worth the wait ! I installed the oil and connected it to a 20# propane cylinder and it started right up. Ran a few different items on it for about an hour, seems to work great

Ordered this unit and first one was beat up by shipper so I refused the package. The sent me another unit and was in much better condition. Took unit out of box and and noticed back cover was not lined up with the blue sides and saw that the back cover was missing two screws. I did the setup and started it on propane and it started on first try. The generator runs great on propane but not in the eco mode it wants to surge but with non-ethanol gasoline it runs great in both modes. Much quieter than I thought. For all of you looking at YouTube videos the digital meter looks like it's flashing but when you are running it the meter looks normal. I will be 101% satisfied once my screws are replaced and the surge is taken care of in the propane eco mode. I will post some video but my phone makes it sound much louder than it really is. Grab one you won't be sorry!

Generator arrived yesterday. Read instructions. Added fuel and oil. Hand started to allow battery to charge. Shutdown generator. The pushbutton start/stop works great, the remote start works great. Placed a light load on it. The generator didn't even flinch. Quiet, runs good. Happy with product.

I just started and ran the generator for 30 minuted on propane and it performed well. I was surprised how quiet it is. It ran 12 feet from the kitchen and with the windows closed you cannot hear this thin. The 600 ml of oil supplied is too much, it overfills the compartment so do not pour it all in. Happy so far.

We purchased this generator for our camping trips and for using around the house for projects or when the electricity goes out. I took it out of the box, filled it up with oil and ran it on propane and it started up the first time. I love the remote start. The weight of it isn't to bad for me loading it into the back of the pickup, but my wife said if she had to load it, she would need help. It runs quiet and is much quieter than other generators that were running in the campground. Great product and would recommend.

I bought this model specifically because of the features. I have only had it for about 5 days so I am still breaking it In. The KW capacity is the right size for me and the dual fuel capability is my hedge agains shortage on one or the other fuel type. I an not sure it is properly displaying the fuel level but all else appears to be showing correctly.
