I purchased this product as a power back-up during storms, tailgating and for the ability to run my travel trailer AC unit while dry camping. For it's small size and portability, this generator keeps our trailer cool in the hot summers while providing power to all of our electrical needs. I didn't give it much consideration when I purchased this unit, but the remote start that's included is one of my most favorite features. I was surprised how often I would be starting and stopping my generator which makes it extremely handy. Having the ability to power the generator using gas or propane was essential for my needs since I always have one or the other fuel source on-hand. Westinghouse customer service is outstanding and stands behind their products 100%. I will be purchasing more products from them in the future and would encourage others to do the same.

I like the generator well enough to order this one being the second one I own. The features are there, thesound level is good, the ease of use and portability. I do have a compaint, my first one won,t start, I have read all the reviews and tried all the quick fixes. I would have to say coustomer sevice, is almost nonexistant. The phone calls get cut off after being on hold for ever, when you finally get someone it is a operator, telling you to get on line, to submit you questions or orders. At this time my online contact has not been addressed. It is too bad that a good product has such bad followup. I hope to get some responce soon, living in a rual area is a problem, being you have to find and take it to one of there approved, repair shops, in order for it to have warranty parts replaced with no labor paid for, for my situation that requires 200 miles of travel to get it back home and lots of down time.

I bought this generator for emergency back-up & to power my Makita electric chainsaw when removing dead & unwanted trees. I used it for a week to cut down dead & unwanted trees from 6-20" in diameter with a corded Makita 16" chainsaw. The generator functioned flawlessly, is very quiet, starts easily, & the remote eliminates a lot of walking back & forth to turn it on/off. The extendable handle is a nice feature but feels flimsy when pulling the generator to different sites in a bumpy acre lot for tree cutting.

I bought this in September 2022. I open ended the box and was so surprised that the generator includes a connection for propane. I was so glad it does. Also the instructions are easy to follow. I've not started it yet but so far it seems like everything I need is here.

I bought this generator to replace a very loud open frame 2500 watt generator that I've had since 2001. I couldn't believe how quiet this thing was when I cranked it. And the fact that it runs on propane as well as gasoline makes it super convenient. Love it so far!

I purchased my first iGen4500DF a little over a month ago. It arrived and I checked it all over before getting started to be sure nothing was cracked or broken. Everything looked great. I hooked the battery up, put the oil in and filled it with gas. I tried to start it and it would not fire. After several attempts I realized it was not getting fuel. I hooked the propane up and it started right away. I let it run for a few minutes and tried running it on gas again. No luck. I went through the instructions a few times looking for a gas shut off but I couldn't find anything of assistance. I checked online and found people had problems with the choke so I tried that with no success. I checked the bowl and got fuel. I contacted Westinghouse for help. I was told it was a faulty unit and they provided me with an email to start a claim. After a couple days they sent me another email letting me know I could return the generator to the store before the 30 days was up. I ordered a new one and then returned the first one without issue. The second generator arrived and the box was beat up but the everything inside appeared fine. This time it started on gas and propane without issue. This is a nice generator and runs quiet. I like having the option of gas or propane and feel it was worth the extra money. Overall I think this is a good generator and I understand sometimes even new parts are not manufactured properly. I believe the issue with my first generator was the fuel selector switch but I did not want to get to far into a repair or claim since I was able to return it without issue.

I've been looking for one of these for months but everyone is out of stock. Finally found it and bought immediately based on reviews, glad i did. Super quiet compared to my previous Champion I returned due to noise level. Plenty of power, great features, runs everything at once on our 23' Nash trailer, exactly what i wanted. The remote start is a bonus in the cold mornings. No issues with delivery or condition other than some kind of silicone grease on everything in the wrapper. Hoping for many years of service.

I've long had a VERY NOISY generator to use as home back up. So noisy that immediately after power is restored if I don't turn the generator off immediately i get banged with a list of text requests to Please turn it off from neighbors. The unit arrived on time , no damage. Very easy set up and VERY quite comparatively. Starts very easy and I love the built in battery tender.

The item was delivered in excellent condition. I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet but I'm certain it will deliver everything it's rated for and what I need. Do not forget to read the owners manual, as operating as altitudes above 2,000 feet require different regulators and fuel jets. Good product!
