I just received this yesterday. I put gas in and hooked up the propane. I started it on gas first and it started immediately. Then I started it on propane. Same thing. I was really impressed with how quiet it is. I haven't had it under a load yet. I need to start breaking it in. So far I am happy with it and am looking forward to using it. I am going to need a high altitude kit for it and the parts are listed in the book.

I cant leave a full review. Just received the delivery yesterday and its 25 degrees outside so I haven't cranked it up yet. So far its everything I had hoped. Been waiting for availability for 5 months. All parts are there, clear instructions, and looking forward to testing and breaking it in.

Unpacked and setup per the comprehensive and easy to follow manual (an actual paper booklet user manual - very useful), the generator started up first time without issue (propane). Going through the running in period - so far, so good. The generator also came with a basic toolkit - a nice touch.

We live in an area where our power lines are located in the back of our yard. As you can imagine, we deal a lot with falling trees in the neighborhood. Our main focus was to have a back up for both our refrigerators in case an extended power outage should happen again. Thankfully, we have not have had to use in a real like situation. However, I have done a few test runs with gasoline to make sure it at least works in case of an emergency. It was able to keep the refrigerators going. It looks like we have plenty of wattage to handle other appliances if we needed to. My wife likes the idea of the invertor feature, as well as using the propane option. I will be sure to check back in once we get to see this generator put to the test.

Put oil in, got the battery in, gasoline-instructions were pretty good. Started on the first pull. Did remote start, electric start, and pull cord. all worked flawlessly. Plugged rv into it and ran for a few minutes and everything worked like it should. Will put it to the test next weekend. If everything works like it has so far I'll be even a happier camper than I am now. Haven't tried propane yet, but really have no concern about whether or not it will work on that. Very satisfied so far.

I have not been able to use it on my Travel Trailer yet. But, so far so good. I received my generator fast, and came un damaged. I connected my LP tank to it, really easy set-up. Started up on the second push of the start button. Ran a little rough for the first minute or two, then smoothed out. I would recommend this generator.

So far so good! I tested it out on my Travel Trailer Toy Hauler and I was able to run the A/C 13.5k BTU, the fridge and the microwave on propane and was only about 75% to max capacity. I will be be able to boondock longer with this generator and not worry about the heat. The features are exactly what I needed and wanted. I took off one star because I knew it wasn't going to be light, but wasn't expecting this to be as heavy as it is, even without gas, my wife would not be able to lift it by herself and I don't want to lift this too many times myself, like once a year would be good. The other thing is the collapsible handle is all the way on the bottom basically where the ground is, so you have to bend down touch the ground to pull it out. Once the handle is in hand and pulling it around isn't bad, I was hoping for rubber wheels and this is just plastic. To be honest, these are minor issues compared to what you get, I don't think anyone has all the features with this wattage as this dual fuel inverter generator does. Overall a great product, meets and exceeds my expectations and is the only Dual Fuel with not only electric start, but remote start as well that can handle my camper with the 4500 peak watts.

... I had too much “fright” to go back to the “harbor” so I decided to just bite the bullet & go w/something nicer from a reputable name brand. The quick start/setup was extremely well written & easy to follow, generator fired up from “half of crank” & worked flawlessly for my first 4 day desert trip. The smart meter feature is amazing, I really appreciate the dual fuel feature since my home runs on propane, I can hook up & use this generator from my 500gal home tank. 5 stars, all the way, doesn't get better for the $$

shipped quick was well packaged put oil gas in it connected the battery(very easy) and it started right up and did what it is designed to do it is almost silent the only down is the serial nr is on a paper tag on the back and the numbers rubbed off in shipment

I just opened my igen4500df and first impressions are impressive. Added the included oil with the funnel provided, installed the battery, hooked up the regulator to a propane tank and it started up and idled instantly! This generator is incredibly quiet, you can easily have a conversation right next to it. I purchased this for running my RV and have not used it to power anything quite yet.
