[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this game a month ago and I'm really happy with the overall game. I found it to be really fun game to play with kids and family. The concept was really easy to follow and made it really fun to play with everyone. The kids had a really fun time and once the kids got used to the game they are having fun guessing the answers. I found the questions are easy for adults but are the right level for little kids if they had different levels I think it would be more fun and challenging for the adults. Overall we had a great time with the game and the accessories were fun too.

A wrong word gets you bopped on head with an inflatable caveman like club. Harmless and painless. If you like a lot of laughs and soaking up a little knowledge then I recommend this game for you.

this game was so much fun. it gave us so many laughs. it was a great game for any age and went by fairly quickly, however you know when you're having fun time flies. trying to speak with only one syllable is actually harder than you think. lol. I recommend you get this game for your next game night, you won't regret it

But we stumbled upon poetry for me and it falls we thought this would be too hard for children to Figure out. Surprisingly we were able to play many many rounds of this game with ages from 6 all the way up to 50! The concept of the game is very easy you try to get your team or partner to say word using Only one syllable words. What makes this fun is if you say a word that has more than one syllable's other team gets to wack you with an inflatable caveman Branch. I seriously think that was my kid's favorite part!

This was a great game to play. You don't realize how difficult it is to speak in one-syllable words to describe a phrase or word, and who doesn't want to smack their friends with the inflatable no! stick. We played this the first time during a holiday game night with 9 adults and 1 teenager. This game was so much fun that we literally didn't play any other game that night. We laughed for hours! The next night, my husband and I played it with our teenage sons and they had a blast also. I would definitely recommend this game.

We had a chance to try out Poetry for Neanderthals with family and friends, and had a blast with it. It's very similar to Taboo, but with a couple of fun twists such as only using one-syllable words and bonking people on the head with an inflatable club if you make a mistake. It was fun for kids and adults, and the game can be as long or as short as you have time for. It's another great game from the same company that makes Exploding Kittens.

Poetry for Neanderthals is a great group game! I played with a group of girls and we all really enjoyed it. It feels so difficult at first, but you get into a groove and really enjoy it the more you play! The blow-up club is obviously a fun addition too!

I finally got it and played with my boyfriend and his siblings. We are all in our 20s. We had a fun time with the game. It’s easy to understand and makes for a good game night!
