Our two families had a ton of fun and laughs playing this. It helped one of us had a lot of experience and was a good coach, or I might have given up early. Note the "Pro Tip" in the instructions (or at the end of the cute video) to use full sentences, even though each word must be only one syllable long. Once I got that coaching, it went much better. Also, I stole ideas from the players who were good at it, like "beast" (yes) for "animal" (no! 3 syllables). This game takes a little practice but is so worth it.

I received a free sample of the game and expansion through tryazon for my review. I played this with friends and neighbors and it was fun. My SO is dyslexic and it was a bit challenging for him. It was a lot more challenging coming up with poems with words with one syllable than I thought it would be but it was fun hitting people with the no stick.

This is seriously one of my most favorite games. It's fun and hilarious. It's not too difficult to learn, but also not so easy that it's boring. It's a great family game, though a little tricky for young kids. Teens enjoy it, adults enjoy it, both enjoy it together. It's a good group party game. It doesn't take too long, but is long enough to make it worth playing. I just really like it!

It was so much fun. My husband who rolled his eyes when I told him about the game at the end told me that was a really fun game. Lots of laughs. We even were able to included my nonverbal autistic daughter. She had a blast clubbing people on top of the head.

Its not hard to play, is really fun and will definitely have you laughing all night, and the hit on the head was a hit too. Will be keeping this in rotation to play for either game nights/family night with other people.

My family really enjoyed playing this game so much so we are bringing it to Christmas Eve for more family to try it out. This game is easy to learn the rules by reading but if you like watching or listening to someone explain them Exploding Kittens has a great video on youtube with the rules. The game itself is easy to set up, fun to play and hilarious when someone messes up and gets bonked by the inflatable NO stick! Its a Great game for 7and up and perfect for get togethers.

Poetry for Neanderthals is a game appropriate for all ages of the family. Perfect for a family game night. This game can be played for as long or as short a time as your participants are willing to stay engaged. Definitely watch the video for instructions on how to play the game as it makes them very clear and easily understood. This will be another addition to our game night options.

It is great for kids and adults alike however it can be a fun drinking game. The goal is to guess what the person is describing using only one syllable words. We played it that if anybody used more than one syllable we bumped him on the head with the inflatable club. Lots of laughs and a great fun game.
