I absolutely loved this game! When you get older creating sentences becomes so much more complex. However playing this game reminds me of working with my kids at school and using simple formation of words. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is easy to learn (by watching the recommended tutorial video) and easy to set up. Part of the game involves whacking other players with an inflatable club, which cracked my kid up!! It’s probably suitable for ages 8 and up and best played with at least 4 players. The rules of play are fun and engaging and the packaging is appealing. It is a great party game for families and and an adult party game as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I had so much fun playing this game! I thought it might be advanced for her (she just finished 1st grade), but she totally got it. I underestimated how much she learned in first grade. We giggled and laughed so much. She actually wanted me to bonk her with the no stick. We kept that very playful, but I could see it getting out of hand with siblings (my son wasn’t interested in playing). I’ll omit the stick if both kids play in the future. Otherwise it’s such a fun game!

It took us a little bit to get the hang of single syllable words, then eventually caught on. We had a blast!! My nephew found the blow up bat to be the best part of the game. It definitely added more entertainment, besides the screaming & laughing!! I found the game to be extremely fun, and educational at the same time. It was definitely a bonding experience for my nephew and I. I highly recommend this game, and would like to try some others in the "Exploding Kittens" line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn't heard of this game prior to receiving it, however, it is super fun! I played it with my siblings and nieces and we all had a blast. It sound pretty easy , but sometimes it more challenging than it seems!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We played this Christmas Day with the family and it was so funny! It reminded us of the movie Four Christmases when they go to Vince Vaughns characters mothers house and play Taboo. We had a great time and it was harder than I had thought to find one syllable words to describe the words on the card. Love this game!

I took this game to work with me and had my highly educated colleagues play with me during lunch. We laughed so hard that there were tears in our eyes. The gist: give clues to your teammates to guess a word or phrase. The one rule? You can only speak in single syllables, like a Neanderthal. (Ice cream: I eat cold snack in round balls on top of hard cone. Or something like that.) If you speak in a multi-syllable word, you get whacked with the "NO stick". 🤣🤣🤣 (An inflatable club.) We all especially loved getting to whack our neighbor when they spoke in multi-syllables. We had such a good time and it went pretty quickly as well. (10 players finished in less than 30 minutes.) The only thing I did not like about it was actually blowing up the club. The plastic sticks together and blowing air went nowhere. I was finally able to separate the plastic enough to get a bit of air in, then it became easier. But also getting the air out proved difficult. The air nozzle isn't the easiest to work with.

This was a great game to play. You don't realize how difficult it is to speak in one-syllable words to describe a phrase or word, and who doesn't want to smack their friends with the inflatable no! stick. The video for how to play the game made it easy for everyone to learn how to play, and everyone was laughing once we all got the hang of trying to talk like a Neanderthal.

Honestly wasn't sure everyone would like this game but I was wrong...they loved it! Speaking in one syllable is harder than you think and time runs out fast. Not to mention getting bopped a million times! Haha!! #Tryazon We combined game night with our Latin family meal and birthday party. Fantastic evening!

This game was so much fun and created so much laughter and joy for our family game night! I would have never guessed how difficult it can be to speak like a neanderthal! We think that talking simple would be easy....it is not! It is also a lot of fun to get to bonk your neighbor on the head when the speak too fancy or say the wrong words! It really was a lot of fun and will be a frequent flyer at our future family game nights!
